While this is true, there are some items in the game using the type of leather textures from 1.0 still; an example of that would be some of the GC gear pieces like the Flame Private's Harness and Flame Sergeant's Subligar, they are "unique" to ARR but not 1.0. Another example would be some of the various NPC's Caligae, using the old Sheepskin and Dodoskin textures, and it isn't exclusive to leather, there's a few (not many) more out there too.

Naturally, I'd like these items to be added to an NPC for purchase (dyeable, of course), or a craft, perhaps some random drop from maps/retainer etc (please). They are already existing and wearable by all races after all.
