Jump Feature

I understand this may be a subject people don't want to hear about (then again what isn't?), but would the devs be able to provide any insight on whether or not this is still being considered for future implementation? It hasn't been officially mentioned in so long and I can't help but wonder if it has been done away with altogether.

I really dislike the idea of jumping, mainly because it leads to exploitation, and also gives people the chance to hop around all over the place, and honestly, in real life, how often do you see someone jumping?

I don't think it will be implemented. Yoshida stated in the past that if it was implemented, jumping would only be used as a cosmetic action and not used for battle gameplay/strategy. I personally don't see the point in adding it if it serves no real purpose to gameplay.

I think it's silly that people don't want jumping because "people will abuse it". As if there aren't things that people abuse already, like spamming emotes and spamming summon/dismount of Chocobos.

which people don't do....but being level 2 and not playing like..at all, you wouldn't know..

And yes, people do abuse those things. I almost always see a miqo abusing /stretch because of the extremely suggestive moans they make. I have also seen people spam on and off their chocobos.
