I don't get all these people and their objections.

Because SE would need to work on making new animations for the 'Minion' pets. Once again, Ifrit would require the most work due to his lack of appendages (he has them, but they're nubs. He has less detail than the Egi).

I'm not asking for the Summoner glamours to look like the egi minions.

First off, OP never said replace the Egi with the minions. She/He said make them as detailed as the minions, in terms of appearance. AKA, not just 1 variant of 1 color. More elaborate pets than the current ones. Right now Egi's now have 1 color template in the same color scheme, and have minimal movements as it is. I hope you're aware that the current animations, for Ifrit, outside of Crimson Cyclone is merely them moving it's arm and a large flash of light animation happens over his body. And Crimson Cyclone is merely the pet "dashing" - Aka flashing for a few moments in one direction then reappearing.

Talk about detail, amirite? The same can be said about the other pets, their animations aren't that detailed.

Oh and if they are going to be making glamours, they're going to have to make new animations for the pets as it is otherwise what's the point in glamouring your pet? That being said, I really hope they wouldn't have refereed to it as "glamour" if it was merely a color change of a Egi or an Egi-Reskin(cause you may as well call it dye at this point) I'd be disappointed if they didn't actually attempt to make it a real glamour aspect with animations and all. Side note; on the discussion of minions being Egi's they've already done minions that can do abilities. Look at Verminion mini-bosses. I'm pretty sure if they wanted to add "animations" they could do it pretty easily.

Honestly, what, in your opinion, do you think glamouring a pet would entail? Just the same exact Egi with a different texture added to it?
