By redeeming a recruitment code on your account, you'll receive the Friendship Circlet (a helmet item) which increases experience earned by 20% when below level 25, which I actually found more useful than it sounded at first. You also get 99 Aetheryte Tickets, which let you teleport (fast travel) for free 99 times, which definitely helps at the start of the game when you don't have much money to spend. You get an extra emote that you can't get otherwise too, which I like as a completionist. Lastly, you get silver chocobo feathers, which are a type of currency exchanged at any Calamity Salvager NPC under the "Deal in Spoils" > "Chocobo Feather Exchange II" menu in exchange for armour ^^ you can get the best possible weapons and armour you could have at levels 50 and 60 this way!
