Because in canon it's clear there's probably a thing with Lucia. Maybe it's one sided on her part, but they give me a lot of the same vibe that I got from Curilla and Trion in FFXI.

You are suppose to make your own story with the person you do the EB ceremony with.

Eternal Bonding is generally seen as marriage, but that's not specifically what it is. It can be for friends too, why should someone not be allowed a little loving cause they decided 'I have a super best friend...guess I cant have a gf/bf now ):'

Back to an actual side quest, all the npcs I like either die or get locked away in a tower to sleep forever. I think Dijana is doomed to forever pine after lost loves

Do not romance Quicksand roleplayers unless you like venereal disease.

Maybe SE could cook up a event on Valentines where the WoL gets tricked/persuaded into a Speed Dating Dinner in Limsa/Gridania, where we end up talking to a few familiar faces and get into embarassing moments.
