PLD. DPS problem is while MT (Shield Oath), OT dps is "Fine".
1 simple solution: Give "Fight of Flight" warriors "Unchained" effect. this will only increase MT DPS, and do nothing to OT, which imo is fine.

Paladin in general in my opinion could use a little tweaking
Both Sword/Shield Oath, being able to switch between them, and both taken off the GCD, but have a cooldown to switch between them (such is the case with Defiance and Deliverance)
Shield Swipes potency increased, and switched to a Cone in front of you, cause other then Circle of Scorn.... what other AE dps does Paladin do?
Fight or Flight, reduced TP Cost of abilities while it is active
Spirits Within, Increased potency, keep it hitting hardest when health is full still
Tempered Will could be party wide or add an effect to it for everybody

Agreed, PLD is a little scattered in the road from 50 to 60.
These are spells, which is why they break combos and are on GCD. Additionally, you'd have a free Rampart if you were to allow this--tank in SwO, wait for TB, ShO instantly and burn another defensive while you Halone away. Defiance doesn't give you free HP when you pop it, which is why it has its own internal CD.
How about converting Spirits Within to a cone AOE?
I don't dislike this, but I think it'll end up being too strong (much like ValkyrieL's Unchained-alike suggestion for FOF). I could get behind PLD having the lowest MT DPS, but the longest sustain, I guess.
It feels like a lot of comments here have been on increasing direct DPS output.. when increasing party utility also increases overall party output. The only problem with this in the current patch though is that increasing utility (healing not included since not utility), does not increase enmity which PLD has an unfair disadvantage versus the other two tanks.
An idea for enmity issues could even be adding enmity generation from damage mitigated. That way PLD with Sheltron, Divine Veil, etc would generate enmity in return for weaker enmity on RoH. It would also make practical sense, since I'm sure if a monster was hitting you and you took barely any damage, the monster would want to either
a) flee (I wish, free raid clears with HG LOL)
b) attempt to inflict more hurt
My friend welcome to the internet and forums, if you dislike threads retreading ground so much, why click them? this will continue til pld actually gets a niche back, because right now, it loses to drk and war as an OT and DRK as MT only vs war MT do we have actual pros and consIf I had a Reprisal proc for every PLD thread on this forum I'd be fucking invincible. The game would break and the debuff would start stacking and my raid would become unkillable.
Everyone knows that PLD has issues right now. There is literally zero to say that hasn't already been said and if someone actually does bring something genuinely new to the discussion I will be very impressed.
I keep wondering when these threads are going to start getting locked due to qualifying as duplicates of each other.
