    to me Diadem was boring from the beginning, just a huge zerg fest combined with rng when it came to drops
    sure you can get some very nice pieces, but imo it isn't worth the time you have to grind grind grind. you could go 1000 times and not get what you are looking for. this is not like relic grind which will reward you at the end no matter how boring it is. it is purely luck based.
    I'll probably not gonna join my FC anymore when they wanna run Diadem... unless they force us into it through the new anima weapons.

    So much wasted potential

    Of course the hardcores who spam Diadem for a week are going to get geared up fast - that's because there's no lockout. The exact same thing would happen with esoterics if they were uncapped (or Void Ark, or any current content). They finally put in some content that isn't saddled with a weekly lockout and now they're confused why players are getting geared up faster. Hint: it's because you handed the players the situation you were trying so hard to avoid every patch on a silver platter with ZERG emblazoned on it. Embrace it! Players hate lockouts! Let the hardcores grind the crap out of 210 gear and let the people who do Diadem less often still have a decent chance at getting 210 gear. Why nerf something that was going well? (Protip: players also hate nerfs).

    We did a HM Diadem today, with 4-5 groups in there, for full 90 minutes we tagged 80% of mobs through pulling.

    The whole time we had 2 stars spawn in the entire zone. We tried Triceratops isle for 40 min and dino island for remaining time.

    Pretty crazy nerf bat.

    All this is almost literally like jumping the shark then killing off the star of the show that jumped the shark in the next episode.

    Someone else mentioned how irrelevant 210 gear will be after 3.2 so there was really no need for this drastic a measure.

    And the thoughts from several about things being lost in translation is so true. The phrase about gatherers gathering more because of not needing lotting rights makes no sense at all; people are less mad at a gatherer that passes than one that still lots by a longshot. The idea of removing lotting rights if you haven't generated any actions is really the only way to go; I've even had times in alex normal in df where we realize a guy wasn't participating at all, only to have them lot stuff in the end, where this would have been useful. And there's no detriment against it; long as they can code it properly there's no downside to preventing people from lotting drops from fights they didn't participate in, in any content.

    At least if there is a translation error we have to hope the JP players are as perplexed about this answer as we are, because the one thing we can be sure isn't a translation error is that nothing's being done about a valid issue.

    While I won't comment on your changes to monster spawns (even if I think your solution is short sighted and reactionary and a better solution needs to be found). I will suggest that if you are going to keep the anti vote kick feature in Duty Finder parties, that you turn on the Idle AutoKick function that is included in PvP. I realize that there are bound to be ways around triggering the idle/kick feature, and this COULD negatively effect some players, but there either needs to be a way to kick a player after they are idle for some amount of time, or we need the game to do it.

    I don't see why they feel the need to lower the chance of 210 drops, as it was you got maybe 10 210 drops, of which MAYBE 1 or 2 end up being usable, and rarely better than what you can use for raid. 10 being an optimistic number of gold chests, with that being said, you may not even get anything as there are usually other people that use the same type of gear as you, and you can't stop them from rolling if they already got 1 item. The drop rate was completely fine, most of the time all you got was garbage gear anyways.

    The middle patches were always a gear catch up patch to begin with, why they're panicking over it now is beyond me.


    Not to mention they do this before any of the inactive houses go up for sale, essentially locking out FCs who have yet to get a house and unlock Hard mode, sure they could join another party, but that's beside the point. They're giving an edge to the people who were previously able to farm.

    Two things I just came up with:
    1. Cool down until your next Exploratory mission is based on your time spent in diadem. So if you are in there the whole 90 Minutes = 120 Minutes cool down. If leave early or get kicked after lets say 9 Minutes the cool down is just 12 Minutes.
    2. Allow to vote/kick awful people and look for replacement. Now that your cool down is based on time spent getting in later won't punish you at all. And if you kicked early your cool down is shorter.
