Which next three jobs would you like to see for the next expansion? I'm going with:
- DPS - Samurai
- DPS - Beastmaster
- Healer - Chemist
Noteable mentions:
- Red Mage
- Blue Mage
- Geomancer
And lastly I would absolutely appreciate it if Square-Enix would add Ranger as a non-support, full ranged DPS job crystal to the Archer class that plays with the same mobility Bard did before the Bard-Mage thing. It's main weapon would change to crossbow instead of bow. Actually, scratch that. Introduce it as a separate job that uses the crossbow as it's main weapon.

I had similar thoughts for Blue Mage and Beastmaster regarding multiple roles for them. That would be very neat if they ever decide to add features like that. I imagine Beastmaster having choices like this:
- Beastkin - Marmot, Wolf, Boar, Aldgoat ~ Behemoth
- Cloudkin - Dodo, Vulture, Apkallu ~ Zu
- Scalekin - Raptor, Ziz, Adamantoise ~ Wyrm
- Seedkin - Funguar, Ochu, Goobue, ~ Morbol
- Vilekin - Beetle, Diremite, Antling ~ Scorpion
- Wavekin - Crab, Gigantoad, Megalocrab ~ Sea Dragon
Monster selection could change depending on the geographical region you are located in perhaps. There certainly is a lot of potential here.
DPS - Dancer
Healer - Dancer
Tank??? - Dancer
I wish they would add a new one mid expansion like they did with Ninja but I'm not getting my hopes up.

I agree if they did do it I would hope they put samurai in(or whatever tank they choose next just using this as an example), in this fashion if they keep wanting to keep jobs thematic to the lore/environment of the expansion via why they chose drk over sam. Nin might have been shoehorned in, but it was nice. I would hope that if they did it this time that they would make it a tank or healer because that would help boost queue times or make them fairly even for a little while mid cycle, nin was great but it really made the queues really bad since it was a dps for a bit. doesnt have to be samurai or red mage or anything but a new tank would probably be nice, then healer and dps for the expansion or however they do it. hoping its two hybrids personally, im ready for some kind of new combat gameplay myself

I think Doma is still a ways off, so next possible place could be Near East aka Thavnair? That being said...
Tank - Mystic Knight
Mystic Knight so fits Thavnair, turbans.
Imbuement of sword = tank stances? Fire = dps, Blizzard = tank, changing imbue could also change certain combo effects/ability effects.
Lightning for utility, stun, range pull, etc.
Various shields, Shell, Barrier, and Wall.
Dps - Geomancer
Still no new Caster Dps! Does fit Heals more but would be neat as a Dps, though may differ to original ff geomancers.
Sandstorm, sinkhole, petrify?, Quake LB!
Could still play support role like that of MCH and BRD. Something like changing terrain = effects similar to songs?
Healer - Dancer
Dancer outfits, Does fit Dps/Support more but would be neat as Heals.
Various buff/heal dances, melee ranged heals - Dance Partners! XD
Would still need some form of range so it doesnt have a disadvantage to other healers and to prevent tunneling. >.<
On point,
I had been thinking out a proper Time Mage, but the class action synergy still needs tinkering. A DPS caster class, the main idea is more easily conveyed by saying look at the Boss of Chrysalis; Take Dark Spark, Dark Spark II, and Quake for aoe, and add a proc system like MCH or Firestarter/ Thundercloud where you get Double/Triple cast without mp cost. Throw in something similar to dreadwyrm trance or Uncontrollable for damage burst, and for the eff of it throw a proc Hastega so the caster can run into melee range and buff the dps.



Pretty much anything I have an interest in seeing, has already been mentioned.
But something to take into consideration is the fact we are lacking "variety" in some roles.
example;
We have plate tanks, all of which have the same distance ranged attack. Give LNC a tank job split off it, or give us a tank in the chain/scale armor, leather outfits, or mage gear. (with a longer ranged pull ability. I know that would attract me to the class)
We have healers in mage gear who range, but not in the melee range, with melee gear.
We also dont really have a heavy armor melee, except the closest is DRG, and barely feels like one.
(Something closer to what WAR in DPS stance is, except harder rotation, the extra dps, and no threat/defense options.)
Lastly, we currently have no jobs that use ROGs abilities (would love to see another job use goad from NIN)

What I want:
Swordman (class) > Samurai (job): Tank focused on countering damage and transforming damage received into mitigation.
Conjurer (class) > Blue Mage (job): Branching from Conjurer, a healer class focused on AoE debuffs to monsters to diminish damage, transforming big hits into manageable damage, and quick AoE, low potency mitigation and healing spells (like Big Guard and White Wind).
Imagine that certain combos or CDs grant stacks that either increase dodge or Vulnerability down, but each stack drains TP immensely. You then use stacks for dmage/self heal/shield etc with the added affect of refreshing tp by a %
