What is the most profitable crafting class?

I decided to return to leveling crafting to get them all to 60 after getting all my gatherers to level 60. It's been a very long time since I crafted. Back then Goldsmithing and Weaving were the most profitable, followed by Armorsmithing and Blacksmithing. But I heard someone say Leatherworking is now the most profitable. Figured I would ask community rather than just 1 person. My plan is to either level them to 60 one at a time, or level them all simultaneously to 60 in 5 level intervals. If I go the 1 at a time route, I'd rather it be the most profitable one first.

In theory, they all are profitable, but as for gathering, Miner seems to be great at making money compared to BTN cos there's a lot 55+ items that sells really well compared to btn 55-60 items

Thanks, I guess I'll just choose my favorite then, which is Weaver. As for gatherers I'm already familiar with those since I have them all at 60 and have been gathering full time past month, and have fully melded pre-BiS gear, and already have some red scrip BiS gear as well, and since I just got last one to 60 is why I decided to post this thread about the crafters since I'm starting on those tomorrow.

I have been lazy, leveling my crafts 50 - 60 mostly through buying GC turnins. So I have a different perspective about profitability.

Much armor, even crafting armor, is available through quest rewards and NPC shops. A lot of armor sells quite cheaply on the MB. Leathercraft and armorer are my 60s, and were easy to hit.

Goldsmith lags because jewelry isn't a real common quest reward compared to armor. L 52+ Jewelry is rather skimpily represented on the MB but untradable jewelry drops in Hevansward dungeons.

As for how to level, I'm a big fan of leveling all in parallel. Mostly due to using the same gear and inventory space issues.

From 1 to 50 leveling them how you wished was fine.

From 51 to 60, I'd strongly suggest you level them all together, in parallel. HOWEVER - either keep them all at the same level, or no more than 2 apart. Unlike ARR, the penalty for attempting a recipe above your level is rather large in HW. You will find it much harder to make higher level refined materials for one class if the class that makes the material is much lower.
