170 Mainhand Tools

where are the crafted 170 mh tools.?

we have every other piece of 170 crafted gear (including doh) yet i see no tools for mainhand for gatherers.

is there a reason for why these are missing that anyone knows off.??
(searched but no immediate topics came up)

i only realised they were missing recently because i only recently could be bothered to craft 2* items after months of hoarding tokens.

i'd rather not have to spend all those tokens on the traded mainhands especially since it seems the crafted ones should be available.

Gathering i170 does not exist for MH tool or for the class-specific left side gear. No i170 crafted hat, body, gloves, legs, or boots for the gathering classes.

I'm 3 weeks from finishing getting all of the RGS gathering gear. After that I will start doing Favors and crafting the i170 stuff, myself.

I'm honestly fine with it this way. Means I don't have to rely on crafting to get my GATHERING up to par.
Besides accessories of course but that'll never change.

ahh hadnt looked for the rest of the gear jut assumed its there.. so come 3.2 thats gonna be gathering progression then isnt it.. withheld content..p

im not getting the traded gear ill just sell favour mats for gil instead. the current gear is enough and if in 3.2 we need the mainhand il get it.

I expect that 3.2, if it has any crafting/gathering stuff, is going to be 3 star HW crafting (including crafting/gathering gear recipes) and new unspoiled nodes that will require fairly high stats, higher than you can get with the i150 HQ General gear set, fully melded.

You usually do not need to max out the current stuff, but you generally want to in order to "future-proof" yourself so you are able to craft or gather the new stuff the day the patch goes live. Selling favor stuff is one way to help prepare yourself though - it's amazing how many problems can be solved when you start throwing money at them.

ill be ready for the new stuff as i have 100 gather tokens just not gonna spend them all on stuff right this sec. i have a feeling that we will probs need the mainhand and fully melded gear and we will be fine to reach new stuff. wont be 1 hit reveal but reachable none the less,

either way its kinda odd for them to with-hold the 170 gear in such a way when they released all other 170 gear.

Haven't touched a single red script gear piece. Will probably wait for craftable main hands and more shared gear.

We don't have craftable i170 main hands or left side gear. I don't know why they excluded us from crafters, this is the first time as far as I know. Doesn't really bother me though, i170 stuff melded would be so overkill for gatherers atm, it makes more sense to give it to crafters if they had to choose. I'm around 650/650 for both my BTN and MIN and yeah that will probably be low when the next stage of gathering comes out but when that happens I'll just get the offhand and stuff a crap load of gathering into it and pray thats enough.
