Keep in mind that the interview was 3 or 4 days after 3.1 went live. That's not a lot of time for feedback to build up.Those were the only take aways from player feed back regarding "The Diadem???"
Are the english subs really not worth even trying (heard the JP devs ignore most suggestions english players make) or have any of you read a single thread in there???

I have been backing you guys for quite some time as being one of the best MMOs as far as listening to the player based but when you put together...

OH ok... that is a bit more reasonable but it was pretty apparent from the get go that the alliance feature needed to be looked at.
Not only that but this thread...
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...eeds-attention
popped up 3 days after 3.1 dropped and there has since been several echoing the request. Seriously... if you even try going into Diadem as 2-3 party's the second you step in there and realize you cant talk with the other parties then it should have become pretty apparent that it needs to be fixed. And for all the "use FC chat," that argument goes out the window once you realize you will have a few tag alongs who aren't in your FC almost every time.

I think Thordan is great. Diadem needs to have longer respawn times to discourage zerging constantly, and the storything I on't really care about.

More parts translated from the interview. Cover things better than the summary.
Guys. We all know they changed the dialogue to get rid of any hint of favour system lol.

Haurchefant does have a front row seat with a group of shirtless men doing squats in front of him

Anyone knows how haurchefant was handled in the chinese version?
I believe that it is the same as the French and German versions, they use the more direct translation of the original JP source to English (pre-localization) as their reference point, not the localized English version.
This reminds me of the issues with Midgardsormr and the way he was handled in the localization, the other language versions matched the JP original much more closely then too, for the same reason.

I preferred Haurche in English.
If he's only going to know the negative, he should also know that people have positive thoughts about the character changes as well. It's only fair.

Wasn't it the same with Iceheart too?I believe that it is the same as the French and German versions, they use the more direct translation of the original JP source to English (pre-localization) as their reference point, not the localized English version.
