House reclaim email

This is just a curious question. I have yet to get an email saying my house is going to be reclaimed. I plan to let it go for some Gil. I was wondering if anyone else has gotten said email yet? If it is to early then that's cool, I just want to see if I get one. If it is to early, when can I expect it?

I know but before the 45 day mark we are supposed to get emails.

35 days - First email
42 days - Second email
45 days - Estate demolished

It has been 14 days unless I'm mistaken.

why are you waiting for the email if "you have plans to let it go for some gil" log in, sell it, and move on?

...this really begs the question: why don't we still have such a system in place? Being able to get rid of the plot for a compensation, via NPC - something that also should have been there from day 1 of housing, tbh. Instead it still isn't; instead house owners get no compensation for relinquishing their plots - officially. Asking for it (ridiculous amounts ofc) in private deals though? Suuuure of course why not??? It's perfectly alright. Especially when it comes to something as limited as housing. Ain't nobody would ever abuse it. Just like this isn't practically an "abuse" of the timer either, nope, not at all. (To be clear, I'm not against OP at all, it's just the technicality of it that irks me, as this isn't the first such "loophole" that gets taken advantage of - a totally obvious "loophole" that could have been easily foreseen, yet even afterwards nobody gives a damn about it.)
