    Soo...question relating to 2.0 and unrepeatable events.

    Now in the outline it states that: Events surrounding the calamity up to the seventh umbral era can only be seen by those of us playing in Eorzea today.

    Does that mean that all content they have been developing thus far like Ifrit/Raid Dungeons and what not will be no longer existent in 2.0?

    or does this just mean that the new story lines they are adding for this "calamity" will not be repeatable?

    It just means that new players who play after the new version launches will not experience this era we are currently in. I don't know, some world-changing event... It was hinted at in the new year's letter.

    for example all the talk of urianger and the 3 NPC's from the starter city stuff will not happen, there is no point in them talking about the start of the seventh umbral era if it has already happened and started.
