Would it be possible to clarify what purpose the diadem holds in the game?

Stating a Issue

As with majority of everyone else, the diadem is not being played as the designers have intended it or at least on the NA servers. How is this possible? ( or am i completely wrong and hunt in the sky was the purpose)

Explaining the Issue

Ever since the developers started talking about Exploratory missions i was given the impression that we get to these islands to explore to find riches or end up finding that these riches are gone because some other group(s) beat us to it. This is however not the case. maybe the case being maybe beating to tagging a NM to find out that in maybe 10 minutes that is not the case. In the community we have folks just mindlessly grinding out 210 gear, people asking to drop gathering because people are upset that they cant do what they want/payed for without working as a group. which makes it ever harder to know what its good for.

Suggestion

As a suggestion make the respawn timers on enemies and nodes much longer as this may get folks to move away from this type of toxic gameplay. ( I would suggest make rank 4 mobs none respawnable or on a 30 min cooldown, making it more competitive and gives people actual time to explore, in what its know as an "Exploratory" mission.)
