solo tanking in thordan EX possible ?

hi, so here is the question ?

i've seen a party today, for thordan EX
it was 1 tank 1 heal and 6 dps,

so here is my question
is it even doable like this ? (so far i have exp up to the meteor phase so cant tell what after)
but if 1 tank, tank both adds just after dive, with 6 dps, even with the shared buff do you think its doable ?

I doubt it. The mechanic right after that requires the group to stack up in front of a marked healer with the off tank in front of them. The OT (WAR) would have to pop Vegeance, Thrill of Battle, and Inner Beast before taking a huge spear hit from one of the Knights. If anyone dies to this mechanic it's an automatic wipe.

I'm not sure if the MT were to soak this mechanic instead of it would be survivable or not. Seems pretty risky if you ask me.

Maybe. We had one try it once in a learning party where nobody watched a video first. The tank was taking like 10k damage per gcd during oaths, so it would basically have to be a full vit paladin with an AST healing and throwing out nothing but boles and spears.

You need to tank two add and these two adds need to be separate with each other. I don't think dps can keep enmity while solo healing a fight, then dps can't take an add I think. I don't think the healer will have time to top up the tank without hallowed ground or something similar during the huge spear hit since he is stun.

However, solo healing is not really hard in this fight.

tanking the 2 adds is not a problem (did it earlier when OT died miserably ...) and was surprised too see that i could tank them for quite long time befor dying (using TANK, stuff and not a mix of tank and dps is surprisingly good),
but with 6 dps i "think" it "might" be possible to overcome the resist buff and still kill them pretty quickly (could use the LB if really become too hard for this part)

I fixed my post and when thethered adds deal x2 damage and take almost no damage. (when thethered, both add will have the sword+ shield buff)
I don't think it's possible if you don't separate both adds. And I don't think you can survive when thethered since hallowed ground/holmgang etc don't seem to work if adds aren't separated during their LB attacks.

I don't play with VIT tanks, only with STR tanks and not even with a paladin. That's why maybe I'm wrong and a tank can still survive. However, I can see a drg tank an add and survive to the lb with stoneskin + adlo crit + virus², maybe. But problem is enmity. A ninja can be usefull, I guess. I don't have the time to test it since I'm done with thordan EX and back to savage, but it can be a nice challenge.
