How do I fish in the sea of clouds.

I have cloudfishing unlocked, did the quest and everything. I attached red balloon to my rod. I go to the edge of an island but no matter where I go the cast ability is greyed out. Where do I have to go in this zone for it to let me fish?

Make sure you've done the class quests because that's how you unlock skyfishing.

No lazier than you not doing a cursory Google search on fishing spots in the Sea of Clouds. :3

Go to the bridge in the little camp southeast of the aetheryte. That and the island it connects to are the only places you can do it.
