    House Demolishing~!

Hello dear forumfolks~ :3 I have a question for you!

So if we don't enter our property for 45 days, our house will be demolished and we can reclaim 80% of the cash we spent on it back. Awesome

Now; does this work if we force-demolish our home without waiting the 45 days? Or must I wait so that I can claim the 80%?

Thanks so much for your time, and have an awesome day! :3

*Edit: I understand that the 80% is for the price spent on the plot, not the plot + permit. But thank you >o<

Act in such a way that you treat humanity, whether in your own person or in the person of another, always at the same time as an end and never simply as a means

No it doesn't work if you demolish your own house.

Depending on your server economy you could sell your plot now by just relinquishing it someone for profit. On Sargatanas the going rate for a small plot is about 8 to 9 million gil.

That I hadn't thought of , My server is kinda toast though so I don't think I'd find a buyer. I don't mind the wait, at least it gives me time to see whether I'll resub after it runs out in January.

Might be worth posting a PF though and see what offers get thrown your way.

This doesn't answer my question, but thank you

They should make it so that we can demolish it now and get our gil back w/o having to wait 45 days.
This would free up some housing now. Ive seen some plots on my serverof folks who tore down their house and now its just a vacant plot of land that no one else can buy yet. (My plot included)

It was fun having a house but I was under the impression when I bought it months ago, that we'd get workshops for all housing. not just FC's. Since we didnt get this, I bought a small plot someone had vacated for my family-only FC a few weeks ago and now we have our workshop, but I'm stuck waiting to sell off my personal house's plot that I'm sure some FC would love to have.

OP: You can remove all your furnishings and destroy the house and get your permit back, the permit can then be resold on the MB. It's what I've done right now.
