My server is dying and it is so sad.. I have so many friends on here leaving one by one and it makes me want too aswell but

1. Its become my home and

2. I have no money to do so

Im on goblin, who else is? Would SE ever merge serves if two start to die?? They cant just let it die all together..

I'm also on Goblin and I strongly disagree that it's dying, as I said in the other thread. I have no trouble finding groups for hunts or diadem or any other current content, nor does the economy seem stagnant as I can still make good money crafting and find just about anything I need to buy on the market boards. We are a smaller server, but having a smaller population doesn't mean death. There are pros and cons to all population sizes.

Threads like this will do nothing to help the server, you'll only scare away new players from joining us and that is what, if anything, will kill the server.

But the other I do not. I dislike how EVERY TIME i post a thread, regardless of topic someone comes along and gets rude. You werent exactly rude but you werent very kind either, more logical but stern(?)

I didnt see your thread, sorry. I shouldnt really be getting shit for it because unlike many people on here I dont sit on the forums all day and read every thread.

Why so defensive? He's just saying that stating a server is dying redirects traffic elsewhere since other players will see this topic and think "I should get to a more populated server." There's nothing wrong with that. People are more likely to go where there is life than trying to repopulate a server if it actually starts dying. It's just the way people are.

I don't necessarily hate you, h8n is just so mainstream these days... don't want to waste time hating something or someone I don't even know.

Rather, I get that you like to express your opinions and all, which is great, not many people can. But with every expressed opinion comes with... well people who do not share the same opinion as you. Doesn't matter which side is 'right', as their is no real answer, only self righteousness. If the majority gives their answer to the question, then unfortunately that's what the majority wants, simply how society works. It sucks, but tis life.

Also try to generalize thread titles/subjects, like your F2P thread, the title seems more like a personal attack on people who dislike F2P. It could have been titled, 'Why cannot FFXIV be F2P?'. A general question and once the majority answers yes or nay, you just gotta accept and move on.
