Bard. Bows, songs, fancy outfits and with 3.0 the epic cocky /bow LB - but I miss my heal LB. Overall enjoy it even with WM.

My first job was Warrior. I was discouraged by the community and found it toxic to play in DF, even when I did nothing wrong.
As a result, I opt'd for healer. I played White Mage for quite some time, and eventually tried out Scholar.
After sometime, I went back to Warrior, and built it for quite some time in raids up to second coil.
I then went back to healer through second coil and then eventually wanted to try a DPS.
I decided I'd play a job that was very easy to play because I often run learning parties.
These parties don't require voice chat, so I rely on call macros to guide people through fights.
So, as a result, I wanted a job I could effectively press macros and weave through the fight rotation while keeping my DPS high. So, I chose Bard.
I've played Bard for quite some time, bouncing between it and Scholar when I need too.
I'm 60 on Bard and Scholar(smn of course), lately I've taken up Summoner and find it quite enjoyable.
Currently, for raid content I'm either Bard or Scholar and plan on finishing Warrior again since I've fallen out of love with Bard.

Scholar for me! I started out as whm, but I found having a fairy and instant heals helped when my internet is going badly (I live in rural New Zealand, it's always bad, and the fairy heals regardless of my lag :') I can also use her to test my lag, by watching if she stops and starts while following me as I run around)
I also don't have to worry about getting threat so much.
The fairy is also very helpful, because if someone gets hit out of range, I try to heal them, to no avail, but my fairy (which I have macro'd) will fly to the guy and heal them, slightly before I realise the guy is out of range. Life saverAlso being able to place my fairy where heals are needed but I cannot go is useful (like in ifrit ex, I set my fairy in the middle, as when I have the debuff on, I can't get close to my group for aoe heals, but Eos can get that whispering dawn on just fine)
However, I DO like astrologian, I find being able to buff my party depending on the situation appealing (my main dps class is bard for this reason... and bows are cool)
Also, when I get bored, I tend to drain a lot more mana, and the cards give me something to play around with (and thus conserve my mana). I also find astro a little more fun than sch atm, simply because I have played scholar so much, I am getting bored.
They need to have a male fairy! Eos and Selene in greek mythology have a brother called Helios! I want a fairy called Helios, plzzzzz.

I'm in a major identity crisis right now, actually xD
I have been main BLM pretty much since ARR release, but I actually play AST more (and better).
But when it comes down to it and I have to face some hard content I'm afraid of for the first time, I tend to do it with BLM first, so...which main am I, exactly?xD
Gearlevel is not helping either because I tend to equip both equally ._.
As to the why:
I absolutely hate the jumbled mess as a close-range DPS or Tank. I want to be far out, keeping a free view over the whole area. Only ranged classes allow me to do so.
BLM wins over SMN and BRD because I love big numbers
I also enjoy healing a lot, but AST wins over WHM and SCH because I like to be a supporter, not just someone throwing heals at someone. It's more busy than boring WHM but without the annoying micro-management SCH has.

Healer, scholar. Love healing and love having a healing pet. I also have Ast at 60, not as good with ast. Working on leveling my whm, currenly 55. Between the 3 sch is my favorite and my main.
I mained as monk before 2.1, and then switched to paladin when my raid group fell apart. Then I deleted my character due to some drama in game.
Then after that I came back to game right before Ninja was released, and decided I was gonna keep playing as tank, although I have not tried out warrior yet. So I leveled warrior and decided to play that instead of paladin, due to how much more threat it generated. And I've mained a war since then.
Now... I don't know. There's a sudden increase of warrior players that came out of nowhere. A lot of these new players are really bad. I mean tanking-an-entire-dungeon-in-deliverance-to-the-point-of-pissing-off-the-healer-and-making-them-want-to-leave bad. Because of this, the reputation of duty finder warriors have gone to shit, and affects the integrity I have with the class because I don't like being negatively pre-judged. Now I'm looking into maining another class but I won't be as skilled with it as I am with war.
...Did I just rant? My apologies.
BLM cause mage irl

Astrologian, because I named myself after a constellation.
