Please save the small servers!!! (goblin)

Small servers are becoming empty, Goblin has less than 2000 active members and decreasing daily. Party finder has become barren, Duty finder takes 30+ minutes for anything, cities and towns are empty.

I don't/can't server transfer like everyone else due to the fact that I own a mansion and the name Vincent Valentine is banned now so I would lose it forever. Please lock the 10k+ servers

Duty finder is cross-server... but ultimately SE will do what's best for the playerbase, mansions/names be damned. ._.;

it is cross server, but here's the issue, two the the 3 shared servers with goblin are less than 2k. makes for still incredibly long que times.

I think queue times are pretty awful across the board at the moment (depending on which job you're queuing as D: ), I get what you're saying though. Honestly I feel like a merger needs to take place on a bunch of the low pop servs.

As for your name; I don't think you'd lose it unless your destination server also had someone with the same name (but then it could get funky depending on how they did the merger, and there might be a crazy rule like "Whoever made their character first gets to keep the name" etc). aaaand to top it off; if there was a merger, I think SE would find a way for y'all to keep your houses. But that would require that they look into the shitstorm that is the housing system... ; ; lol

Why should people work 2 weeks for a level 200 ESO top when they can spam Diadem and get multiple 210 items. Duty finder is long now because many people don't see the need to get ESO gear. They can get their ESO's there as well. Someone needs to fix Diadem.

Unfortunately, Vincent Valentine is a banned name since the launch of FF14 ARR. It was only available during beta because SE forgot to ban it. SE bans all final fantasy character names such as: zidane tribal, cloud strife exc exc. So if I were to transfer, mansion / name would be gone forever.

Unless I'm mistaken, if someone were to report your name now, it could probably still be changed. :P

Edit: Also, I'm going to say it should be since it does break the ToS. Semi-related, people that rip off names from popular media annoy me. Come up with your own name.

It still makes me scratch my head how or even why people clamour to make characters on the over filled ones as it is to the point you have to ninja your way in at like 3am or after service. I guess once your in your good but still, I used to be on Goblin myself but perhaps they will offer up either free transfers if it gets too low or even a merge. Though I can only assume the way to keep that would be to give extra wards and have your house be moved to the new ward, same plot.

thankfully not, I've sent in several tickets before. They know they oops'd but it would be unfair for them to do that do players who rightfully claimed the names that aren't Technically against the ToS.

Unless you're patient/ lucky it's difficult to get in a very populated server like Gilgamesh/ Balmung when making a new character. As long as people pay $18 to transfer to servers low populated servers will always slowly lose players.

They need to make a free server transfer week like they did during 2.0; just make it so that populated servers are locked during that time
