QoL Suggestion: Re-Attempt Meld

If a meld is unsuccessful, it currently takes us back to the menu, where we have to re-select the item from the list, select the materia from the list, then blow through two warning prompts to try again. It is not uncommon to do this dozens of times in a row for the same meld.

It would be nice if when a meld is failed, so long as you still have the same materia and catalyst available in your inventory, that it gave a prompt asking, "re-attempt the same meld?" with the meld window in the background. If not that, at least keep the item and materia selections saved and bring us back to that point instead of square one.

Becasue of this, it's faster to use the "Request Meld" feature and have someone else do the melds. You can re-queue the request while they are writhing in agony. My wife and I, both omnicrafters, do this for each other all the time when overmelding.

The OP's suggestion here also eliminates the chance of melding something wrong unintentionally. I'm not sure if everyone here has this experience before, but there was this one time that I selected a wrong materia after a string of continuous failed overmelds, and the wrong one actually melded in...

Another suggestion to go along with yours. Have an auto-meld option, similar to the quick-synth method. The player can set the number of attempts, depending on the specific number of that materia and catalysts in the players inventory. Auto-meld will burn through that number of requested, and will stop once a meld succeeds.
