Recommendation: Give us a Subscription Discount! (Until 2.0)

Dear Yoshi-P and Yoichi Wada,

I will keep this short: Offer us a half-off discount, or a greater discount, off your intended montly price for subscribers to FFXIV Version 1.0. This way, you provide users with a greater incentive to remain with the game until FFXIV 2.0 is launched.

Example: You plan to charge $14.95 a month for FFXIV, plus one dollar for extra character slots.

For FFXIV 1.0, you give a half-off discount, pricing monthly subscriptions at $6.95, with a second character slot free (costs $1 for more slots after that). This would remain in effect until Version 2.0.

Please consider this!

I'm totally agreed ,even though I love this game I still believe its incomplete I will stay either way and I know they need to start making some money for the Hardware infrastructural and start paying to those 250 heads that are working, but I'm disagreed that they start charging for the game like its complete when its still under development.

This thread's OP probably spells it out in the most polite, concise way imaginable compared to all these other threads.

In fact, none of the threads cited really spells out an accurate, specific pricing strategy for the duration of XIV 1.0... I've done the legwork for Square Enix here, as well as the playerbase, and framed it within a professional, straightforward message.

That's more than I can say for 99% of XIV's playerbase.

If you are having to chose between bread on the table or a game subscription then fair enough but... well, i guess a lot of players are young kids and have no income, idk...
