    Special dungeons for 30th anniversary

This is the fifth suggestion list I do ("1", "2", "3", "4"), but unlike the others, this will be focused in a seasonal event I previously suggested. First of all: sorry if my english is bad, and second: Repeat the Shantotto event at least one last time, please!! Not only for the minion, I want my character to live those events.

    FINAL FANTASY SEASONAL EVENT:

In the past, I said I want a new seasonal event to celebrate the birth of the Final Fantasy series. I have two ways to celebrate it: each year since December 4th to December 18th like the other seasonal events, or... 1 entire year (or better said, 14 months) beggining in December 2017 and ending in January 2018.
In FF14 we have gear and minions from previous FF, these are good tributes to the entire saga (seriously, I think FF14 is a good tribute to the series), and this is what I suggest: this seasonal event, with each year (or each month if you choose the 14 consecutive months) based in each main FF game, from 1 to 15 (not the 14, this is already 14).

The existence of another worlds is already a fact.

We have seen characters from another worlds and heard legends from another worlds:

    - A myth of the original Warrior of Light from FF represented as a minion.
    - A myth of Firion represented as a minion.
    - Cloud of Darkness tried to destroy Eorzea.
    - A myth of Kain represented as a minion.
    - Gilgamesh has appeared in this world from the rift.
    - Ultros & Typhoon too.
    - Also the Golems from Dragon Quest.
    - Shantotto traveled here, and Iroha appeared here too.
    - A God of light also brought Lightning here.

    The special dungeons

As I said, in this new event, each december (or each consecutive month during 14 months) would be based in a FF main game, and to make it different from another seasonal events, these would allow players to unlock dungeons based on locations from those games (FF1: Chaos Shrine, FF7 Midgar, FF13 Eden... for the FF11 dungeon you can choose the most popular dungeon from that game and adapt it to 14's gameplay).

Obviously, to not corrupt the canon of those games, the events of each dungeon would be parallel to the original events (for example, FF13's dungeon would be in Eden during it's destruction, but while the Lightning's team is already in Orphan's Cradle. That's the thing, our adventurers travel to those worlds, but don't interact with the main events).

This means, don't include bosses like Garland, Kefka or Artemisa. Only iconical bosses without story: three of the four fiends in FF1's dungeon (since they reappear each time in the final dungeon), Ozma in FF9's, Long Gui in FF13's... Catoblepas in FF15's? (Unless you prefer to make these dungeons as dreams like the Minstrel's Ballad's, then, put any boss you want and make the lore you want).

    Possible lore

Well, I thought something like this (I'm not so good with lores): Something strange is happening through Eorzea, 14 interdimensional rifts appeared and threaten to distort the world itself. Our adventurers shall enter to those rifts, travel to those another worlds (as I said: DUNGEONS of course, I'm not saying open worlds), defeat the final boss of each dungeon, and close the rift.

    Fixed loot

Each dungeon would have four fixed rewards: male gear for all jobs, female gear for all jobs (after each boss), a male hairstyle voucher, and a female hairstyle voucher (after final boss). All of it based in those games (someone suggested the FF1 warrior's hairstyle in the contest, this can be a good way to include it, a reward for the FF1 dungeon.) Three examples:

    - FF1 dungeon (Chaos Shrine would be good, starting in the present and finally in the past) drops the warrior's gear from the original sprite and his hairstyle for males, and Princess Sarah's dress for females... (the female hairstyle... I don't know, sorry).

    - FF7 dungeon (Midgar would be good) drops Vincent Valentine's original gear and Cloud's hairstyle for males, and Aerith's gear and hairstyle for females.

    - FF13 dungeon (as I said, Eden would be good), Hope's original gear and Maqui's hairstyle for males, and Fang's gear and Vanille's hairstyle for females.

    Rare loot

Besides a gear and a hairstyle, after defeating the final boss, there are rare rewards. This can be a thematic housing furniture, and... whatever: a minion or a mount. I'm with the FF1, FF7 and FF13 dungeon examples again:

    - FF1's Chaos Shrine: The original airship as mount and the Dark Crystal as housing furniture.

    - FF7's Midgar: Cloud's motorbike as mount and... a housing furniture representing 7 (I've no idea what could be right now).

    - FF13's Eden: The Chocobo Chick as minion (like the black chocobo minion, this can fly, but independently), and the Crystallized Cocoon as housing furniture.

Since FF11 is also a MMORPG, the loot (gear, hairstyles, minion/mount, housing) can be based in the most popular or the most iconical from that game (except Shantotto's minion and Iroha's gear, they're already in the game in their own events). Also, FF3's dungeon musn't be the Crystal Tower, FF14 has it's own version of the Crystal Tower.

    -----

After each event (or after the fourteen months, whatever the way you want to do it), those who didn't played it or those who are new to the game, can unlock the dungeons via Mog Station, or a minor quest (or repeat the event). In the Duty Finder, they would have their own section (Duty finder: Special dungeons, for example). In time, you can make dungeons based in future FF16, 17... if FF14 don't close by that time (I hope not, I want this MMORPG to have a longer life than FFXI).

    -----

Yeah, yeah, I know, this is impossible and many of you don't like these ideas, but hey, suggesting is free. xD We'll always have the veteran rewards and the current seasonal events like Lightning, Shantotto and Iroha's, (seriously, repeat those at least one last time), but I wish for special dungeons based in previous FF with their own enemies. xD

Considering SE have stated already in the past that they are not doing another dungeon/raid from a past FF title, I doubt that when the 30th anniversary for the FF series rolls around there would be anything more deeper than another special Wandering Minstrel quest and a set of FATEs with fanservice gear/minions added, like the Rising event this year. May I be proven wrong though.

I've suggested female and male loot because... can you imagine a male character with Aerith's dress? or a female character with Vaan's clothes? I don't like so much gender-exclusive gear: I wanted a male version of Lightning's clothes like girls have Cloud's Advent Children attire, or the bunny ears from the Gold Saucer, but not. That is why I've suggested gender exclusive gear here.

The reason why this loot I've suggested is based in gender and not in classes is because these gear is only for glamour (like every dungeon, even the most recent ones. Which of these gear use people? Loot from the recent Saint Mocianne's Arboterum? or Esoterics and other 200iL gear? Answer: 200iL). Currently, dungeon drops are actually for glamour, so I've suggested loot based in gender for these special dungeons because of that.

The vouchers of female hair. It's now when I've seen that male and female hairstyles are included in the same voucher (or... better said "Modern Aesthetic", wrong word before), so these can be in the same too. Sorry.

And no, I'm not a troll, I've suggested all of this kindly without insulting anyone, not like you calling me that. Thanks.

I've always thought that it would be awesome to get a limited time dungeon as a part of a special event instead of the standard fates and whatnot, and complete with fan service and everything...

but realistically, you'd be looking at a short lived event that would take much more design effort than this past Rising event which added an area to the game with numerous additional npc's for players to explore. That area was no larger than a series of small rooms, so I highly doubt they would put any more energy than that into an event unless the event was planned to last for a significant amount of time. An entire dungeon would require major-patch levels of work to design and implement, so even though it's a nice idea I just don't think it's likely.

    But who knows...
