That was my point. In a larger FC, the trend would be to get FC members to come to the workshop, it doesn't 'have to be' FC members, but that would be the most likely choice for an FC that can accomodate, and thus gets the rest of the FC involved with the activity. I think the problem is that SE is damned if they do, damned if they don't with this one, as if they take away the 4 person requirement, suddenly people scream that there is no content for FCs to work together on (I know this isn't real multiplayer content, but taking it away gives us even less) because one person can do it all on their own.

It's tough because while i see the reason for wanting something for FC's to do together...the way it's set up is really still more of a solo activity while 3 others usually afk in the workshop. If you have a smaller FC like mine (7 people that are never on at the same time) then this becomes a chore if you want to make 1 step aetherial wheels. Begging LS's and friends to come help gets pretty old fast. I hate to burden other people if I can avoid it. If I have to make a multi-step piece...then I usually have to pre-make all the mats for the stages and ask my friends to afk while I turn it all in, this is not ideal as a number of times you get a progress boost that messes with the counts. I've seen people resorting to Party Finder and offering Gil rewards for helping. Kinda not fun. Now if the workshop was 4 crafters and a 30,000 quality project that you shared extra CP for as a group and the items could only be made using the workstation...sure, now that is group crafting and could be fun. As it is...I feel the light party restriction should be tossed.

One person can already do it all on their own though, unless people standing on a level 1 crafting job in the workshop counts as "doing something". I'd like to meet someone that feels teamwork and camaraderie doing that.

They can at the very least just combine all the steps of every recipe so you only have to have a group in there once. The recipe would be way less cumbersome for people to look at and see what is needed and progress doesn't get halted midway if you don't have enough people on. If navigating the menu and turning in items wasn't such a pain in the ass I'm sure we'd have a lot less instances of FCs having 1 person doing all the crafting for the workshop.

This is my main problem with needing a group, three out of the four people have absolutely nothing to do. Every time I've had a new FC member in they've been disappointed,
'That's it? I don't have to do anything?'
It is not fun or engaging, it's simply a solo player activity that requires spectators.

I do feel this should be looked at again, because it's clearly causing issues for smaller FCs.

This is a pointless requirement. If everyone had to actually contribute it would be one thing. But so long as the person turning in has the ability to do so, everyone else can just go afk. If they aren't going to modify it so all crafters in the group are important, just get rid of it.

Devs, can you please remove this annoying requirement in time for patch 3.4?

Well there is no answer from SE for a very long time. So I guess that's not gonna happen. Sadly. Requirement to have audience (because 3 crafters only stand there whole time) in workshops is annoying to say the least. And serves no purpose other then annoy people.

As we've been receiving lots of comments in regards to the number of players that are required for company crafting, the dev. team is currently considering making adjustments to where some of these company crafted items can be handled on your own.
So... what's going on behind the scenes (now) regarding this?

e level requirements in some ways really are a joke. Mainly due to the fact that sometimes, you will see something that is a lvl 20 craftable, but the workshop wants you to be lvl 42 to be able to add it to the mats que.
You are not just making a piece of wood and trading it in, you are making a piece of wood and then attaching it to other pieces to create a different item. So yes it should be higher level.
As for people complaining about the level requirement go level up your classes, I see no reason that the level requirement should be removed. I do agree that it should be one crafter on some if not all recipes.

I guarantee you nobody in the current situation is calling this "good FC content". One person already does do it all on their own, the other 3 people do nothing but stand there.
