    I fully agree. Getting 4 people together to advance a step is not the biggest problem. But it is completely unnecessary. It gives no advantage what so ever and has to go.
    Please S-E, can you remove the restriction with the next patch?

    Even we as a middle FC with about 20 active members don't use the workshop often. Just the thought of stealing other people's time makes me shudder. We would use the workshop A LOT more if we could advance steps on our own. The creation process itself can still be a group effort. This restriction does not help at all.

    I've personally seen no practicality in the group requirement and have personally seen on more than one occasion where it made the issue worse.

    My FC has multiple crafters but only one has the ability to master craft. So here we are sitting around while he does all the work. But unless at least three others are on he can't even work on the projects.

    The requirement would probably be better if abolished entirely. It severs no purpose other than to be an unnecessary hindrance. And we already have enough of those with specialist crafting. Halone Forbid should a component one day need MULTIPLE Specialist items.

    They need to make it worthwhile for others to join in. I am sure they thought diadem would create excitement about airships and make it easier, but diadem was a giant missed opportunity and a fail so...

    What they should do is spread the exp awards to everyone in the party. They are minimal as it is so it shouldn't be that big of a deal if the exp you got was proportional to your level. If they would do at least that it would be somewhat more enticing then nothing at all.

    As we've been receiving lots of comments in regards to the number of players that are required for company crafting, the dev. team is currently considering making adjustments to where some of these company crafted items can be handled on your own.

    I think a parallel system should be in place for estates.

    For example, no reason not to allow home facade building for personal estates.
    But also no reason for personal homes to need to be able to make wheel stands/buffs.

    As to the airships:
    1 Ship per personal home, a small ship that can travel to all the sectors, but likely can only hit 1 of the furthest out in one journey, or 2 of the closer sectors.

    Some of the airship mats, are just far too rare on server Market Boards for far too long making it so the average player likely will never see them/the items crafted from them. Also, even for a player in a FC that reliably finds and shares the rare mats w/ members, the reality is, there are now so many different rare mats+sectors to aim for that it is hard to keep up with everyone's desires, once again meaning it's hard to meet everyone's needs. Also FC's have access to diadem/diadem HM esp. But in order to do Diadem on a regular basis, they need to hold a ship (or more depending on needs) back, which means even less ships being sent out for mats.

    Like right now, in my FC:
    2 People are waiting on 6 Drav. Motes each.
    1 Person is waiting on 4 Potters stones
    Several Raiders are highly interested in V materias
    Several people want Tincalconite
    1 Person wants Antique Rugs
    1 Person wants Shrub Seedlings
    2 People want Oriental Grass
    3 People want Fine Alumen

    We keep one ship 'Diadem Ready' at all times, this leaves 3 other ships to go out on missions. We also have to unlock a couple of the new sectors yet. So with everything going on, it's almost impossible to accomodate everyone. Which is why, if personal homes, could send a small ship out, even if it could only hit 1-2 sectors each trip...it would not only help lessen FC loads, but would keep the server Market Boards more vibrant w/ the rare stuff, and make it so average players could maybe get some shinies.

    And this isn't even factoring in, within most fc's the ave. member doesn't get much say in where airships go/how they are used.

    Basically, I think there's a way to make it so personal homes can have a parallel system that doesn't really undermine the FC workshop worth.

    Are they also considering the level requirements for some item placements too? Like my lvl 56 blacksmith (or 57 cant remember) can't place in adamantite nuggets on a project because it's level 58, but I can make it. It's rather annoying.
