Workshops - getting 4 people in there to progress a tier is getting tedious

I would really like to use that new compact Aetherial Wheel Stand too, but no way am I gathering four people for a wheel every time we need a new set.

As a small FC leader I second this, we have a hard time getting enough points for buffs and I never use the wheels because its such a nuisance.

Even with a very large active FC I find it hard to accomplish this. PLUS, even when I do get 4 people it's very long, very boring! I shouldn't have to place 9 items at a time if I have all 81 needed ready to go. I understand the aim of the system initially but it's far too difficult to get people to contribute. There's no easy way for people in the FC to know there is a craft being made and this is what's needed. They would have to go to the workshop, write it all down and go outside to the MB/Summoning bell to complete the items. As stated before, if they finished a section they can't progress solo therefore they quit contributing and we may not see them for days. I don't see how this promotes any camaraderie :/

Even if it was something as mundane as a "all four persons need to pull this one lever together" thing, it would at least have some miniscule justification to have them there. Right now, it's totally a head-scratcher of pointlessness. lol

Yes that's right Dusty but the other players can't see the next stages unless they go to the workshop . This means asking them to go to the workshop to check next stages, write down all mats needed or what they are willing to get and then deposit in the chest(that's if the chest actually has room which is another issue). At the very least all FC members should have all stages view-able in FC timers.

Should be able to deposit all mats for all stages in one go with the system deducting it off the stockpile after each stage.

psh got 57 members and its still hard to get a few who arent busy or afk to come to the fc house, change to crafter and stand around while i push phases and craft

i solo all workshop projects. all this does is halt progress for seemingly no reason. sure, i can find people to stand around while i turn everything in, and there might be a little bit of chat in between, but generally i feel very guilty for making people stand there doing nothing. as such, i will try to hand over some gil or an item like hq cordials or something for their time, because they will get zero benefit from anything i just made (other than the fact im always willing for an airship be used for traveling to diadem). i guess it's nice to get visitors, but i don't really understand the point.
