    Dungeon idea

    Hello, so I was thinking of a way to make dungeons a bit more fun and came up with an idea. What if each new expert dungeons would have 3 to 4 secret paths that once you kill the last boss, one of the paths would open up randomly and you can go explore them. They could range from jumping platforms, puzzles like the FFX Cloister of trials, some would need to evade traps and once you succeed, there would be a treasure chest that grants you some extra tomes and cool rewards, maybe random to some point, but cool stuff not just glamour prisms. Also once you kill the last boss you could change to a gathering job and find different gathering points in the dungeons for special mats/items. All this would be done at the end of the dungeon so people are not forced to do it, those that want to leave can, and those who want to challenge the secret paths for extra tomes and loot can do it at their own pace.

    I'm not sure this would be possible or even worth it if it was.

    I think the effort would be better spent on simoly making longer/more origenal dungeons.

    They feel boring because it's a copy pasted formula.

    Perhaps a more origenal idea that would still be casual enough while still allowing a challenge would be to make a single boss in the dungeon with side rooms that make the boss weaker based on how many you clear.

    IMO it's make a good 8 man dungeon with say 8 rooms and you can only deactivate say 4 of them but could face the boss in insainly mode by not deactivating any of them for a better than normal reward.
