this is why I'm scared to even level my GLD past 22 because I was barely holding hate in tam tam even with rotating and popping two flashes I feel like PLD tanking is hard and I have a lvl 60 tank already so the fact that he has a WAR at 60 means nothing as tanking is much easier on WAR and with PLD not having tanking stance until 40 I can't do it lol I can just see everything running away from me especially since dps think that they need to go nuts on mobs before the tank has even established hate

Flash is structured in such a way that you'd have to hit it ten times in a row without stopping to run out of mana. It also doesn't interrupt your combos, so you can literally weave it in as many times as you need with (almost) no penalty. What I've found is a "safe" rotation is to hit Flash after every combo finisher. And if that's not enough, tab to the next target between each step of the combo to rotate your damaging moves.

Or you have the tank and healer on the same Comcast Internet connection. Your DPS will definitely have opportunities to survive without tank and healer when the tank and healer both randomly lag out from the game.

Well I don't know if its my place to comment but as a Dragoon main on ps4 I generally try to attack whatever the tank is attacking (though its hard to tell if not impossible if a huge mob is pulled) but there is usually a higher priority mob than the rest (Morbol, Bees, the giant tree in Arborium, those bees with final sting same place) and most tanks follow that. But when one doesn't I end up almost pulling threat (or just pulling it if I cant stop my rotation in time and end up with a Full thrust crit). But there's generally no problem with aggro on most tanks I've run with, even if I pop everything.

Unless there's a huge ilevel difference. Apologies to the GLD in Tam Tara when I was running for my Zodiac for ripping everything in the dungeon and then keeping it.

Regardless if a tank is attacking a certain enemy or not it's their job to keep hate on all mobs, and yes PLD does require rotation between enemies to keep agro.
If you would have attacked early i too would be mad but really i think it was his fault. Flash, Provoke they are all a thing that tanks can use, even shield lob.

DRK has insane enmity generation as well. SE buffed Flash twice I think but that was a long time ago, Flash is needing another buff me thinks. There is no reason for PLDs to be behind on enmity modifiers. We ALL have to level GLA for provoke/awareness/PLD. We all know how much of a pain it is to hold aggro til 40.

Comcast customer here, I share your pain sir.

As for how to make me mad since I main WAR, pulling for me will piss me off more than anything and likely leave you looking for a new tank.

From your story, tank sounds incompetent and not really your issue. I'd suffer through the dungeon and cross my fingers i get better luck next time.

As for your question, there are plenty of ways a DPS can piss off a tank. Most notably:

    1. Pulling extra mobs
    2. Hitting before they have a chance to flash/overpower etc.
    3. Grabbing agro and then kiting the add away from the tank
    4. Not putting out good DPS

    Like i can understand below lv40 but....at lv50+???!!?!??!

I wont even get mad if the dude is undergeared and can't aggro because of it and even apologize for taking aggro, but the moment the tank starts marking mobs its like "AWH HEK NAW"

    lololol
I don't take it as an insult, I just figure that my tank is a newbie tank and is probably incompetent. I focus what they mark, but do my AoE anyway.

Sounds a bit like a bad tank, and maybe a bad/new healer? A competent healer can easily heal the damage in Haukke, especially if they are level synced. If the healer reacted properly, they should have been able to make you nigh unkillable.

PLD before 40 isn't horrible to be honest, I think the only time it started to ever get mildy annoying was still having only Sword Oath in Cutters Cry which is where DPS power creep even with sync can be felt. Always best to be ahead of the equipment curve (like don't be going into Brayflox with -10 level sword, that is just insane), and not let DPS out gear you. Put stats into STR early to deal more damage and secure aggro (If you follow my last sentence this isn't an issue HP wise). Also makes your HP cooldowns like bloodbath more potent.
