These are the things that devs should put new features for FC section:

1. Add the member status list "Number of Days on FC" - This will be a good track record for those who will be rank promoted.

2. FC Calendar - If doing FC events this will track members which FC event is coming

3. Put on RANK settings ON/OFF FC chat - If there is drama or commotion within FC chat use this feature to ease the drama or any troubles.

3 Personally, I'm not sure about this one. If we don't want someone participating in FC chat, then I'd rather see the underlying issue(s) resolved than simply 'mute' them. I used to run a Guild in WoW and we had the option but I discouraged my officers from using it. Problems don't usually go away just because you can't see them.

Promotions - change it so that people with permission to promote can only promote to the rank directly below theirs and no higher. This will allow FC leaders to delegate tasks like moving New Members to Member rank.

How about a search bar, so you can easily find that member who deserves a promotion.
How about separate promotion/demotion.
Promotion should only be able to promote to their rank or 1 lower. It is stupid if a member could promote to a leader.

I don't think memebers who aren't leader can promote to leader unless that leader hasn't been on in a set amount of time, then leadership reverts to the rank below. I think that's how it works. I have promotion ability I'm my FC but I can't promote myself to leader (not that I've tried of course ;D)

Points 1 and 2 are great ideas, especially 1 since this comes up quite a lot in my FC. Mail is also something that would be great. Personally I'd like to be able to separate garden plots and allow separate rank abilities for each. I know it's a small thing but it would help greatly.

Trust me they can. We have Master -> Leader (can do all master can) -> Officer (less responsibilities, but still able to promote new members to member). The officers would abuse their priv and promote themselves to leader do what they needed and demote themselves to officer over and over. They are no longer with us. But they shouldnt be able to do this.

I did not know thus, I'm sure I tried before to see if I could promote myself to leader but it wouldn't let me. I'll try again when I'm on next! Haha. Sounds bad what happened in your FC tho, that's not having officers you can trust.

Also there was another thing I thought of to add to this post, a sort of sin bin. Like a cool down period you can set that would strip someone of their rank abilities for a short time if they have been causing trouble or something. Nothing more than a slap on the wrist type thing but it could be used for times like Megha's problem above.

This is a feature that the dev. team wanted to add since the launch of the game; however, it requires a large amount of resources to develop this, so it is currently difficult to implement.

FFXI has it. Had it for a long time. I know you all want to limit possible RMT transactions but there's a lot of "business decisions" that are being made. I'm sure the dev team can do it very easily; but whatever is holding you back on your sprint backlog per the business requirements needs to be adjusted.
