Storage Space Please Help!

If you have a house or a room there is furniture with storage.

Other then the Armoire and FC chests, there isn't any storage furniture in XIV. >x>()
Housing, for the most part, is purely cosmetic.

To answer the OP, other then dishing out more money for a retainer and/or opening your own FC to get access to an FC chest, there aren't any other ways to increase your inventory or item storage. D;
