Thoughts on removing fates from hunts?

What does everyone think about this? Like for example when it gives you a rare fate for hunts...which happens often so you have to sit at the spot for hours waiting and it doesn't spawn..I know I have spent 3+ hours waiting for fates before. Thoughts?

I don't see this changing lot of things have you waiting for specific fates such as the beastman daily quests, the rellic quests, etc. SE like to throw fates into things.

yeah I admit I probably should not of posted this..lol this was posted in a rage after waiting for 5 hours for Downy Dunstan (I'm still waiting)

If you're waiting for five hours, are others in the zone running FATEs? If you want it to pop faster the best tactic has always been to run FATEs so that it comes up.

Besides, it's a lot more interesting them just sitting around...

I'm pretty sure that the NM FATEs for the daily Hunts are specifically chosen as ones that both spawn around the same time, making it very difficult to complete both quickly. This wouldn't be a problem if certain NMs didn't spawn so infrequently - it's frustrating to see a FATE end just as you arrive and then waste over an hour at the least standing there waiting for it to next spawn (Seps is probably the worst for this, but others are equally frustrating for their infrequency).

But like Bixillarla said, I don't see SE changing this now so long after it's introduction sadly.

Well, they DID remove them... from 3.0 content. The 2.0 daily hunts involved 3 normal enemies and 2 fate bosses, but 3.0 daily hunts are just 5 normal enemies per ticket. I think its safe to say that they learned their lesson, but I don't see them changing the 2.0 daily fates due to that content being outdated.

Probably not, only do them for the little extra gil...though not much I do them, and ventures.
