There is nothing wrong with selling runs, and anyone participating on either end of the deal does not have to be associated in any way with rmt. You do realize how insanely easy it is to make gil in this game, right? That is why SE has put in various gil sinks such as housing.

Selling runs does not make you somehow a bad person. It is no different from crafting and selling what you make. You are providing a service for someone who does not want to be able to do it all themselves, or for some reason cannot do it themselves such as not being in a static or being short on time. Real world examples of this would be relying on a financial advisor to manage your stocks, or going to a doctor to diagnose an illness, or even simply buying groceries at a store.

And yet you would vilify anyone who doesn't do everything themselves. How cute.
