I typically advocate for a full Str AP allocation regardless of which tank you're using, honestly, because Tanks gain more benefit from Str stats in regards to Aggro and better scaling returns for specific abilities. You're trading Hp, but Tanks typically have enough HP that it shouldn't be a problem. Healers should be able to keep you alive without issue, and if they can't the problem usually lies with your use of cooldowns or the healers skill level.
