My Miqo'te, R'ydia Khiryu, from 2.0 Beta to 3.1!
Beta/2.0
2.1 - Darkened the hair a bit, changed the tattoos to a purple color, trimmed the bushy eyebrows and added freckles!
2.2 - First Fantasia, switch from Blue/Green Heterochromia to teal-colored eyes. At some point the tattoos became red.
2.28 - 2.5 - The look I had for the longest, gave her darker skin and hair, while also giving her teal eyes a very subtle heterochromia.
2.5 - Stuck with a different hair-style for the first time and made it a darker shade of green. Went back to same-color eyes, also added a 2nd scar.
2.55 - Basically went back to heterochromia and having one scar, but kept the darker hair from the previous change.
3.1 - Switched to the new hairstyle, which I am in love with.
While I've been pretty consistently a Miqo'te throughout XIV, shortly after Heavensward came out I did switch to Au Ra for about 2 months before eventually switching back to my Miqo'te. This was my look through most of 3.0.
My FFXI main was actually a Tarutaru named Rydiaru, and while I eventually decided to switch from potato to catgirl in between XI and XIV, she did make a short-lived return in XIV via some Fantasia boredom, and now lives on as my retainer.

Started a bit before expansion, so I don't really have that long history yet, but here's Azi from the beginning until this moment.
Started with this look, and pretty much kept it all the way to 50.
After being 50 for sometime, I started to regret that I didn't go with this tail, so used my Fantasia, also changed eye-color from white'ish to brown.
Expansion came and decided to change her into Au Ra.
And after a short while, went back to Miqo'te.
..and back to Au Ra..
..and about an week later, I again had to change her into Miqo'te - this time I changed her hair- and eye-color closer to the Au Ra's to try to control myself from buying multiple Fantasias.
But I was stuck in going circle..
Latest Fantasia happened shortly after patch 3.1 release, decided to change her usual face into something different this time - and so far I've been able to keep her.

I started off as a torsoless cat thing -- oh the joys of early access.
My first job was a Scholar, but I somehow got delegated to the Black Mage role later down the line, and I'm still walking down that path.
A couple of hairstyle changes along the way, but nothing major.
I've no idea...
Come Heavensward, I joined the scaly people with the free Fantasia. This is how I've been since.
Until today, that is. Fresh out of the lab.

Yoshi-P is doing his best and is patching Endwalker. Please wait warmly until it is ready.
This thread aught to be interesting... Don't mind if I dooooooooo
(Also, some of the screens may be of doubtful quality, considering I changed computers at some point and I had to take them from Steam. Sorry about that)
So. I'm not a XIV veteran, in the sense I started up like a lot of people somewhere during 2.0 and 2.1.
At the time, Seth freshly arrived in Eorzea as a Maleqo'te.
(I warned about poor quality screenshots >.>)
I stayed that way for about a month and a half.
Then I got the free phantasia, and a friend who gave me enough reasons to use the thing.
Aaaaand chug, chug, chug...
...That's a good thing that Seth is sort of a gender-neutral name, come to think of it.
At the time, I kept a few traits from my previous appearance: the black & gray hair, which became white, the grey-ish eyes, and the skin tone. And the ugly-butt armor.
That was my to-go style for quite some time, only changing every now and then of hairdo or colors.
I fixed myself on a definite face style for the wedding of my character:
A few days later, I used a phantasia. Not for a new appearance per se, but... Let's just say that my friend and I decided to play a prank on our FC mates and switched our appearances for a few days. (Just to be clear: I took a Phantasia to look like him at the time, and he did the same to look like me. We didn't switched accounts or anything >.>)
So I was looking like this.
Which almost immediately became this when I decided to... customize it for something more to my liking.
(By the way, the friend I was doing the body-swap thing with took that slight modification of his physique as an authorization do the same with mine. I was not happy with the result.)
Soon enough, I switched back to my FeMiqo'te form, only fine-tuning a few details regarding the eye color and such.
And then, for some reasons unknown to myself, I decided to make Seth a Lalafellin for a few weeks. It actually became quite fitting as well: the 2.5 Part 2 hit home around that time, and the Sultana being a Lalafell as well, I found it quite pleasantly concording for some reason.
I went back to MQ'T before Heavensward came home tho, and stayed somewhat the same way I did before aside from, again, fine tuning for the eyes. So I'll spare you the screenshot.
Also, when I completed the Vault and... well, the event taking place here, I thought it was fitting to remove all the make-up, switching back to something more subtle on that front, and I removed the front gem as well after clearing up the storyline. It was no time for extravagance, after all.
I did another switch to Lalafellin when Alexander came in, then, again, switched back to Miqo'te. I'm basically circling those 2 appearances every now and then.
Now, compared to before, the eyes are red, the white hair became red as well, and with some adequatly fitting lance and armor thrown into the mix. That "Crimson" family name aught to correspond to something after all !
...And now that I look at it, I didn't took any screen close enough when I had that armor. Soooo, duellist mantle. That's the thing I'm wearing nowadays anyways.
As of today, I'm back as Lalafellin again, and will probably switch out to MQ'T again when my phase is off. I stayed mostly the same way all the time, and I reckon my character is not the most original-looking of the book... But I kinda grew on her after all.

Last edited by SethC; 11-29-2015 at 09:13 PM. Reason: Lots of edits for character limitation, image fixing, and all that jazz. I don't know how to forum, it seems.
Could the expressiveness of the emotions with the ears and tail. Certainly the Au Ra have joined in on the tail club, but none emote as well as miqo'te with them adorable ear movements.
That said, I still adore my dragonman as much as my man'qote. >_>
