Evolution of your character

I play with 3 characters, so I'll start with the one who changed the most. Lucienne started as a Midlander. People hated the Midlander's running animation, because it made the character look too fragile. At the time, it suited her just fine. I had the idea that she only used magic and was physically incapable. I changed her appearance three times.





I started thinking about changing her appearance in May 2015 and made her into a Seawolf Roegadyn in August 2015. Although I liked her as a Midlander, I felt somewhat dissatisfied with her. It was one of those things when something seemed perfect, but was missing something I couldn't put my finger on... Suddenly, I wanted her to be a bigger lady. Large in size, yet elegant & graceful. Changing her into a Roe fulfilled that and I honestly don't see myself changing any further. She went through two changes.




I felt disappointed that I finalized her look with the most common female Roe face, but it suited her too well to ignore.

aside from the fact the 1) I was on PS3 at 1st (went to PS4 later) & 2) don't take any pic's of my avi back then or have a USB stick... those 2 aside all I can state is I started as Miqo'te sunseeker for the eyes & cat-girl then went Highlander cause of... "Breast-envy" only thing that changed after that was hairstyle twice (used a highlander only 1 till they added a nice short 1, the one on that PLD relic set NPC for Hilbrand's end-2.5 quests, then using this new one from 3.3 that I herd is based off of a character from FF-type-0)

Gear glamour has changed to many times to note down... but I think thats the point anyway

Anyone had any character changes pre SB? I'm being loyal to my kitty roots now. Though I'll probably be trying that Sice hair. /drool

Well I've jumped back and forth between male and female Roegadyn. Male Roegadyn looks exactly as he does since HW's release (and the "leatherman" glamour seen below has been my main glamour since the summer event of 2015), as has my female Roegadyn (main changes being a change of hair colour).

Thinking back, there have been quite a few steps to my character's growth:

- Lightning Returns - (3.0 after Story)
After the story of the new heroine, the main character reappeared. Mature look remained with new Ishgardian flair.

That look! Awesome and handsome character. You have a really good taste in your creation. I'm in love with this!

My look after starting with FFXIV - this look remained until HW was released


After HW release i've tried out the new Au Ra


After a few months i wanted to try out something new, so i've changed to hyur


Missed my fluffy ears and tail so i've changed back to miqo~
Tried to create my own Y'shtola everytime her armor was available at the mogshop.
Also fell in love with the healer armor.






PotD gave us a new hairstyle so i tried it on Au Ra but changed back to Miqote after a few weeks.
At this time i've watched Sword Art Online - so tried to create a similiar look to Asuna.




After a few months i've changed the look again, also changed for a short time to male Miqote.
Changed the appearance of my retainer as well so i could stand next to her, as brother and sister.






Went back to female Miqote after two weeks and stayed with this one until now...

Hard to find all the screenshots of myself :P. My most recent change, I am back to Miqo after being Highlander, then to Midlander. I wanted a change in emotes from my Highlander and loved the change.


During the long maintenance I started playing on the Benchmark character creator because I wanted to play around with Miqo'te again. I created a lot of varieties but decided on the darker skin, I always need to go with my Moon Keepers especially since I started with Moon Keeper with purple hair. I have switched eyes so many times between white and yellow, I normally don't do different eye colours but I thought it was apt with how I switch between the two colours :P. I'm loving her look, she stands out to me, I only wish I could increase her muscle tone.

Nothing much to say here:

Startet as Miqote in A Realm Reborn and changed to Keeper of the Moon after a year or so. Then the Heavensward Benchmark came and I felt in love with the new Au Ra race. Lizard in Ishgard. Then Lalafell for 1 day. Changed back to Au Ra and never want to change again (except for playable Ananta race).

Here is my Character starting from FFXI.
Never used a single Fantasia. All Fantasias that where given by Collectors Edition or Legacy Bonus are still in my Inventory.
