Although they are all fantasia's I see all of my designs as separate characters and entities, each of them did different types of quests and have experienced Eorzea in different ways (they all have their own backstory too). When all the instance quests say "BRING A GROUP OF ADVENTURERS WITH YOU" well...together they guys all form that group >.< (I'm on 7...I need an 8th xD)

Haha, yeah, justifying race changes for our internal character story is..hard, to say the least.
Making them all seperate characters is a good idea

My Au Ra was a different character after I had killed off Miqo-Meo.
Having changed back to Miqo'te now is still completely messing up my internal story..xD

First off I'm really jealous of ppl wo stick to the (nearly) same appearance all the time. I wish I could do the same but I love so many things from different races - it's a curse and a blessing that u can play everything on one character. And I'm just too lazy to level alts T_T


Í started playing January this year so my pics aren't that old

I don't have an ingame screenshot of my first look but I save every look I have so here is what I looked like when little Yuen started as a Galdiator


after reaching lvl 36 or so I quit the tank role due some unpleasant encounters in dungeons (Yeah, I never played a tank in a MMO before >_>) and went for SCH which is still my main - The heart tattoo was gone and freckles were in. I went with this look thorugh the whole story before 3.0


though the skin wasn't just dark enough so I fantasia'd somewhere inbetween (dark skin and black lipstick are just the best!)
This is still like my fav hair of all time and I'm very sad I can't use with other races T_T


It was time to change my best man's suit to something else and the hair colour didn't fit so it was time to go blond!


It didn't stay that way very long bc I stalked the "show your Roe" thread too much and HAD to switch. Freckles ofc had to stay!


But ofc the hair has to match the outfit so I went black and white


I never was a big GS fan but as soon as I saw the hair I had to grind MGP to get that hair which I had the longest besides the ponytail one which came with 3.0. Also I was really glad to have my nerd glasses back! With the metallic silver magitek robe it was my all time fav outfit for my roe


I got kinda bored of my nerd look and wanted something more wild so I went firey red head but I don't think I stayed that way more then one week maybe?


3.0 hit and I switched the hair immadietely and stick with it till the end - besides some experiments that didn't last longer than one or two days


I wanted some fancy facepaint so the freckles had to go


I got annoyed with my skintone and wanted to go paler but at the end it turned out the darkest lol


Eventually went back to blond streaks and stayed that way for a long time before I fantasia'd to Aura


So after being a big scary dark (&ofc awesome) femore for a looong time I decided I wanted the complete opposite and went for a cutesy bubble gum look - which was relly great at the beginning


During the halloween month I went for a complete different look and I figured I'm just not the kind of person for colourful cutey charcters and stayed black and white - sadly no freckles bc I wanted to have as many scales as possible


I still switched back and forth with the looks for my au ra and were never REALLY satisfied untill I found out it's the face that will never make me happy. I love it and it's really beautiful but looks just too nice and calm - also the horns started to bother me

If I have looked closer at the last face in the benchmark I would have gone with this look from the beginning - also freckles are back <3

I'm really happy with my Au Ra now but I wish she had the highlander and femroe emotes (and was as big as the males >_>) :/ I still miss them both and I feel I'll change sometime back to highlander...and then to femroe - I grew attached to them and still have a bunch of screenshots I wont deleted even if my folder takes ages to load

That's a great idea. :3 I felt like I totally betrayed my character after about a week as an Au Ra. If I hadn't made her so similar to my Miqo'te I might have gotten away with the same. xD Maybe I can just pretend it was some crazy transfiguration spell lol.

The thought of the effects of Fantasia on other people in world is kind of amusing to me. I finished the 2.55 storyline as a female Miqo'te, then picked up at 3.0 as a male Au Ra. You'd think NPC's at Dragonhead would've been awfully confused, considering the enormous differences. Do they even notice? Maybe it's just something that's known to happen to adventurers every so often and it's considered rude to mention it. "Well, hello there. You're looking... um... rather well. Did you perhaps... ah... get a new haircut?"

I changed to lalafell just as FCoB was introduced and changed the name to Leleyo Leyo.

FF XI



Beastmaster was by far my favorite job in XI.


In my usual waiting spot in Heaven's Tower for my ls to gather for the night's event.

FF XIV: Version 1

I kept Kat's look mostly the same, even down to the haircut. Since XIV was doing a promotion for those who had accounts in both XI and XIV at the time, I kept Katra's name and used Leviathan (my server on XI) as my last name.


My first pic in XIV. I started as a Pugilist in Gridania. I don't really recall playing a lot of MNK in XI, but it seemed to be the easiest class to get started on in XIV.


Arrived in the Ul'dah region for the first time.


First DoH class was Goldsmith, which I picked up while visiting the city.




Cortheas before it became a frozen wasteland. It had such nice music as well.

FFXIV: ARR & Heavensward





I initially kept the same look while I tried to find a job that suited me in this redo.







But I finally lost the spikey hair look after about 10 years.











Like many others, I changed to an Au Ra when they were first introduced in 3.0. I was finally able to make one that I thought looked nice with red hair, and I really enjoyed there emotes. Playing a Mithra for so many years, I thought it was nice to take a little break. I had trouble settling on the limbal eyering color, I was jumping back and forth at the end there between red and green.











After a month or two, I went back Kat's original race. The last few pics were just from yesterday and today.

I started in 1.0 with a Derplander-clone named Valan Aradan


But it was too similar to the real derplander and a lot of bot for my taste, so I changed with the 2.0 release in his (adopted) daughter.
At the beginning of 2.0 my character was a Wildwood elezen: Meru Aradan



her first modification came with the patch 2.1, with the purple tatoo (I like call it "aetherial scar") on her cheek


the biggest change was two week afther the 2.15 when I used a fantasia for transform her in a drow-like Duskwight Elezen

Facial features, eyes and hair color are the same of the Wildwood. The reason? Her inner darkness grow so strong to taint her own body.

Until the patch 2.55 there wasn't so big change, only a little change of hairstyle and the extension of her "aetherial scar"


After the 2.55 her hair, and her scar was dyed black in order to avoid capture from brass blades and cristal brave. It was the "Merune Vergel period"


She return to her usual colors after the release of Heavensward, because there was no more need to hide herself.


For a month I used my last fantasia and changed her in a Xaela Au Ra, with the same colors of the elezen.


I like her new appearance but I never found a good way to explain it so with the patch 3.1 I returned to her usual race:
