Evolution of your character

I wish I had some evolution to post, but its hard for me to change from elezen.. I feed off other peoples changes for now Keep em comin

Started as a Miqo because cats. :3


Soon switched to Lala, the reactions of my static were priceless.


Dabbed into Miqo for a short bit again because reasons. :b


Miqo, Lala, Miqo, Lala. SE should make a hybrid race. c:

Nurua started as a Miqo'te


Then wanted something more "adult" and go midlander.


Only to realised that the run animation is big NO and changed back to cat.




Then again wanted something less cute more adult with elegant emotes, after few months, still it was not good enought - neck and shoulders, uhm=/


After that I tried Au ra and suddenly...yes!...This race is it, the right one!=) Start with Raen:




And end up with Xaela, because...dark scales

Thought it would be fun to see how our characters have changed since release. :3 Here are Kae's journey of looks:

XI - Was named Taeyu back in the day, Kaelah's surname Tae is what everyone there used to call me.


1.0 - verrrry different to now. I was a pale Moonkeeper with blue eyes.


2.0 beta - I decided I wanted to be nostalgic and look a bit like my XI character. (Had white hair though, went brown with blonde like my real hair.) Not sure why I changed tribes, probably due to colour options I guess.



2.0 release - Kept the hair/face/tattoo but decided to go darker skinned in a bit to stand out a lil. Caucasian skin seemed to be most common. I also ditched the purple eye as I felt that was very popular too. Green is a typical kitty eye colour so I stuck with that. Changed the hair slightly red to compliment the skin tone. Went with bushy brows like my own too.


3.0 release - Did what I'm sure most of us did and tried Au Ra. I did like her this way, still do. Buuuut, she seemed less emotive in cutscenes to me and I missed my fluffy tail/ears.


Now - Back to same old Kaelah. Hair has changed style often between release and now but always keep the colour.

Just wanted to say I love the bushy eyebrows, it's the most fitting style for Miqo'te imo. This is mine. I only changed her hair style and color, and lip color, once when the new 3.1 hairstyles came out, but I simply didn't like them on her and quickly switched everything back. I've always really loved this hairstyle, which is apparently from patch 2.3.

I change my character's race about every one-to-two weeks, does that count as an evolution?

My character hasn't really changed all that much. I've never used a Fantasia aside from the automatic conversion from the old 1.0 character. I've slightly changed the hair colour and hairstyle over the years, but she remains the lovable squishy lalafell that I adored from the start.

I'm only playing for about a year, but I did go through some changes.
Started as a male Miqo:

Decided to switch to female, and made her look as much as the male one:

I noticed a lot of other kitties looking like that, so I tried looking more unique, and since then I've only made some haircolor changes:

I've had quite an evolution xD

Then once the game began I decided on Lalafell.


But after about half a year things just didn't feel right, I felt out of place being a Lala, so I decided to make the big change :3.

Nothing really changed for a while other than randomly swapping my hair colours around.

But then I opted to alter my face as I'd ultimately grown tired with the look I went for, felt like my eyes were too dull.

I was quite happy with this look but in the end something was still desperately missing.

After a lot of deliberation I've found my final look <3 and I'm really happy with my character now.


So ultimately, I really really wanted a thick and full beard
