Please remove gathering from easy and Normal Diadem

Stop whining. The only issue that needs to be addressed is letting someone roll on loot they didn't contribute on.

The Diadem is time based. The less people fighting, the more it takes to kill a single monster. In the long run, you'll end up killing less, and getting less reward. People who refuse to fight, but leech anyway, are slowing down others. The only solution I could imagine is remove it from DF and have people complaining they need a FC for it, or make separated queues for DoL classes on different map instances.

You keep saying crafter in your previous posts. I think you mean gatherers.

On topic... I've made a PF for gatherers yesterday and we had a blast gathering. Only one time did someone get on my case about bringing in a full group of gatherer's into their Normal Diadem in shout (dunno if you get more steel spoils in normal than easy). But DF is there for people who have their own goals and want into the thing. Maybe they tried PF and it failed, so what. DF is there for individual goals and after the objectives are done, you really can do whatever you want. You wanna bang your head against dinos and maybe get gear, have at it. You wanna fish for the entire 90 minutes and watch the scenery? You equally have the same right. Gatherers probably shouldn't be able to roll on stuff people get from fighting mobs since they didn't fight the mob but that's a slightly different issue than trying to ban gatherers from Diadem altogether. There are things to be gathered so they have a purpose to be there just as battle classes do.

Considering the amount of coddling people around here give to the 300 dps crowd if someone leaves you may not have enough dps to get the gold chests from a star rank. So yes, they do.

If one person's absence from the party is hurting you that badly, you need to be looking at what the remaining seven are doing wrong... If DPS are putting out crap damage, well that's hardly my fault if I'm across the map fishing to make raid food and potions for my static.

This really just shows that there exists content that should never be in duty finder.

And I'm actually in favor of such content there's not enough content where you have to play with people on your server.

Adding this in duty finder was the wrong move SE needs to make content that will have nothing to do with the duty finder.

Diadem is a bit of a dilemma.

When you use the DF to join a Diadem group, or to fill out your pre-made, you are stuck with whomever you get.

Sure, using party finder could still net you one or more people who will afk (which is the worst offense possible) or gather (at least they're doing something).

Going with your free company (make sure to arrange a group to go with when you are on) seems to be the best way to go.

I applaud the developers for trying something different. Sadly, the only way for them to know how to tweak Diadem is to release it to us players. Sometimes we players will use a feature that developers created in a manner that they were not expecting. So all we can do is offer our feedback and (maybe) provide ways to tweak Diadem so that is enjoyable for many.

That being said, based upon the stories of other's experiences in the Diadem, I don't think that I am going to get the pegasus mount. And I really want it, too.

Honestly, the amount of crying that you're seeing about gatherers is ludicrous because they don't actually show up all that often. I myself only queue up to gather maybe a couple of times a week at the very most; the rest of the time I go in to punch dino faces, rack up spoils, and have a shot at some i210 gear should RNGesus bless us with any that's worth keeping instead of turning in. Your best bet is to look in Party Finder and join a premade (if you don't see one just make one yourself); the bonus is you can Need roll on i210 gear then. I got my Pegasus mount in a few days' time going in there once or twice a day.

The majority of the complaints I've seen from FC mates & LS friends have been about afkers moreso than gatherers. I've already chalked Diadem up as something that I'll never set foot in.

Not enough, not until we reach Lightning levels of threads will we be satisified.
