Please remove gathering from easy and Normal Diadem

I just want to get my Pegasus and never go back. :X I don't gather or craft so I don't really care for that and I can't stand the RNG of the 210 loot drops so I'm just gonna stick to my esoterica gear. Hopefully they'll change up the Diadem to fix the problems their having with all the different players and loot rules but I don't think I'll have much use for the diadem once I get my flying pony (6 spoils away!!!)

This really just shows that there exists content that should never be in duty finder.

And I'm actually in favor of such content there's not enough content where you have to play with people on your server.

Adding this in duty finder was the wrong move SE needs to make content that will have nothing to do with the duty finder.

Diadem is a bit of a dilemma.

When you use the DF to join a Diadem group, or to fill out your pre-made, you are stuck with whomever you get.

Sure, using party finder could still net you one or more people who will afk (which is the worst offense possible) or gather (at least they're doing something).

Going with your free company (make sure to arrange a group to go with when you are on) seems to be the best way to go.

I applaud the developers for trying something different. Sadly, the only way for them to know how to tweak Diadem is to release it to us players. Sometimes we players will use a feature that developers created in a manner that they were not expecting. So all we can do is offer our feedback and (maybe) provide ways to tweak Diadem so that is enjoyable for many.

That being said, based upon the stories of other's experiences in the Diadem, I don't think that I am going to get the pegasus mount. And I really want it, too.

Honestly, the amount of crying that you're seeing about gatherers is ludicrous because they don't actually show up all that often. I myself only queue up to gather maybe a couple of times a week at the very most; the rest of the time I go in to punch dino faces, rack up spoils, and have a shot at some i210 gear should RNGesus bless us with any that's worth keeping instead of turning in. Your best bet is to look in Party Finder and join a premade (if you don't see one just make one yourself); the bonus is you can Need roll on i210 gear then. I got my Pegasus mount in a few days' time going in there once or twice a day.

The majority of the complaints I've seen from FC mates & LS friends have been about afkers moreso than gatherers. I've already chalked Diadem up as something that I'll never set foot in.

Nevermind. Forgot you need a party to stay in, and there are gather missions.

If you are not queueing into Diadem with a pre-made party - tough luck. If you want the group to have a common goal, make your own (full) group of 8. I do think, however, that party members should need a certain level of contribution to roll on loot from a particular mob (this would include chests from gathering in which all the loot should go to the gatherer, to be fair.)
