How would our PC hang on to a wildly spinning turtle though? I don't even know how we manage to stay on as is.Idk why people making it seem like Fenrir should be inable to fly. It could just transverse a cloud of snowdust beneath it, similar to like the shiva mount but with a more solid road. Giving it something like wings would betray it's design so hopefully they don't do that.
Superior shell spinning that creates a tornado under it. Think of a squirtle using rapid spin and bam.
I mean the argument for Fenrir to fly is quite valid though. Farming up 1million MGP is pretty time consuming. Only to get a mount that while extremely rare still only walks on land. I don't think its completely odd to manipulate snow and wind in the way I described. Imagining Shiva walking in mid-air on snow dust/clouds underneath her is not far-fetched. Fenrir, another creature capable of doing the same seems workable.I dunno why people make it seem like Fenrir should be able to fly. What, just because it costs MGP? The mount's description is pretty clear that it's not actually Fenrir but rather is a common hoarhound named after Fenrir. I think it's just as silly for him to fly as it is for a Goobbue/Behemoth.
We spin with it and just attach a belt to it. Problem solved. Imaging Lalafells spinning at high frequency is awesome.

I'm so mad they are going to make him fly.... This mount is sooo far beyond my reach that now they're gonna give me more fuel for my burning envy whenever I see him. >_>;
If we're just going to make arguments for it based on rarity of the mount, then I'd honestly sooner see them make more common mounts fly so that more people can enjoy it. How many Fenrirs actually exist in the entire playerbase? A few dozen?

I'm ok if they run in the air like WoW Jewel Panther. No need to put wing to all every landing mount that can become flying such as Kirin or Pegasus.
According to the rather small sample size (300,000 users) on Minion Menagerie, 813 people own the mount. It's still incredibly rare though, the second rarest mount.
The Jewel Panther is clearly a crafted mount, it's in the video name, making it more akin to a magitek reaper. The hoarhound is a species native to the frozen north, about as magically gifted as a behemoth. There's no comparison.
So how long until we can see flying wolves and gigantoads? Even though no one wants to see a flying gigantoad. Like, I'd like to see some mounts stay grounded versus having nonsensical flying options, it's sort of getting out of hand when we're making tortoises, hoarhounds and a gobbule somehow fly (esp when these sorts of things are dime-a-dozen in the open world) otherwise we might as well just have our characters fly with a T-figure model.
