PS3 Beta?

So I was one of the people that got FFXIII for the PS3 and was wondering if we're still going to be able to test FFXIV for the PS3, or if we can get it at a reduced price or free if we have the PC version.

if you look at the last page in ^this link you will see that it is planned for late next year.

If it's anything like 11 which i expect it to be, make a friend with a ps3 buy it and set up then borrow his disks and sign in, I did this this with the 360-ff11

As for the beta unsure but i think it will be honored

I wonder if they allow new beta player invites, because my code did not work and failed to sign up in the first place

Probably be a ticket system and then offered on PSN perhaps.

The PS3 beta may not even happen for 1 reason, a beta is to test hardware & the game out but every single PS3 out there has the same system specs.

They may release a test client which you can login to your normal account with to play to game with, seems like the more likely option since theres no need for a beta.

I'm almost concerned about their schedule for release of a PS3 version, I know there isn't much to be done about it now given the state of things, but given that playstation versions have been regularly released in 6 year increments, it seems like by the time FFXIV comes out on the PS3, the PS4 will be following shortly behind.
