Even WoW "only" has around 1.8 Million Player (without China).

If SE can keep the Playerbase around 400k, I'm sure we will see FF XIV 10th Anniversary.
It's how many lvl60 characters are on the server, doesn't mean they're all subbed. For all we know only 1/3th still bothers with the game. That will go to 133k active lvl60's.
