Yeah yeah system limitations, git gud, whatever. The Zerg is too much, I can't even see 3 people let alone ANY of them mobs. How is this acceptable, either make it work or stop compatiblity with PS3, I'm paying for this game to not work for me, when I could be saving up for a PS4 to work in the future... Just kill it.

They arent going to stop this type of content just because your system cant handle it. PS4 has been out for 2 years now. At this point you are inconveniencing yourself on purpose and while you could stop paying for your sub and save up for a ps4, if it is at that point for you then why not, especially since the PS4 has dropped in price.

Awhile back, I remember the devs only committed to the PS3 through HW. Yoshi-P seemed keenly aware of how the PS3 would hold back the game, but he insisted on ARR being playable on it to meet the promise made by the 1.x dev team. Wouldn't surprise me to see PS3 support dropped after the next expansion.

Do yourself a solid and get a ps4. You'll never look back.

Yeah. Picked up a ps4 awhile back. Game is sooo much better. I spent the first couple days just wandering around looking at stuff after upgrading. Until you upgrade, as far as diadem is concerned you will have to run it as intended, rather than join the zergfest. A fellow i n my FC is hqving the same issue.

You know you could just stop paying for it until you've paid for a PS4? Why do you need SE to cut support to do that? If you don't like the support your getting, or machine....stop? It's very simple. So simple. The simplest.

Have you tried adjusting your settings? Turn off other player's VFX? Stuff like that? There's no way that the PS3 is that bad without there being any way to fix it on your end, unless you have similar or worse issues in 24 player raids and S rank hunts. Besides, unless you're healing, (and for some reason manually targeting instead of using D-Pad targeting), being able to see the other players doesn't actually prevent you from playing the content......

PS3 support is going to be dropped by next expansion, it's just going to happen. The game can move so much further forward once that dead weight is lost.

Eh, I'm on PS3 as well, and it's not much different from S-rank Hunts during peak hours. So it's not particularly good, but it's still playable.

A SSD drive makes it run 95% as well as I want it to. Before I switched it would load npc/pcs slowly and they would fade often. In no other content (even stuff like Odin pre HW) loads instantaneously. In diadem I do get some mobs that will fade out occasionally if the ps3 gets hot. PS3 is passable in most content, but in stuff like diadem there is no fixing it to 100% efficiency.it also lacks QoL convenience like multitasking and voice chat.


SSD: ~$100 Bandaid Fix. Useable in ps4 when you do upgrade but will only make it good on medium-low settings compared to oem which is bad on low settings. Map load times are reduced to ps4 levels and npcs load instantly in crowded cities. You will still have to upgrade eventually, but it's a cheaper way to enjoy the game again.(PS4 version ARR + HW and a PS4)
Upgrading to ps4 in 2 weeks.
