Uh... reselling is also not technically 'legal' in majority of cases. People buy and sell account here and there, it's something that cannot be stopped just cause it's against ToS to do so.
Adding in, I was talking about profit for the companies, not the consumer. A thousand unit will make more profit than 100 units, but they still do lower numbers. Why not just mass produce them? They probably get as many emails asking for a re-release every week.
"That's not very logical though.
"Oh, you know what, I'd rather pay 15$ for the event items of this event, and 15$ for that event. Even though I'm actually playing the game and subbed during them (and could have them for free). I have too much money, ho ho ho.
Idk much seasonal event items that costs $15, but if you say so. It may not be logical, but I'd rather spend my playtime (which equals hours/time=money) doing core content rather than waste time running around in circles. If I really want something, I will buy it with $$. Though honestly, I've only ever bought maybe a pack of 8 metallic red dyes. Don't really see anything worthwhile.
That's the thing, if you were unsubbed, that is your problem. You don't get to miss a week of work and ask for your pay.Get them if you were unsubbed or not yet playing at the time. Also OST and plushies and preorder minions should be available in the cash shop too. As well as all previous event minions/glamours. Except Legacy I guess. And only a full year after the event.
You know you can still get collectors now? With a digital collector thing. I don't want to buy a 30$ plushie to have to pay 35$ shipping on it because their store shipping is bad for Canada shipping (and doesn't even ship to some countries), just to get a minion. But I'd buy the minion itself. Same for 50$ Blu-Rays that also ship for 35$. I could get the entire Star Wars saga in Blu-Ray for less....than an OST.
'Except Legacy', why are you singling out things now? If everything should be available, then everything should be.
Digital Collectors edition = you don't get any of the physical content. There is still exclusivity (as I mentioned in my first post).
