Oh, I do. While I would like them, and will certainly voice my opinion on it. I'm also not going to lose sleep over it either, xDPeople care too much on what others have, when there's no reason at all for it. They're virtual items. Be happy with what you got and enjoy what you get and let others be happy aswell, you have no reason at all to care what item does someone else get. You have your pretty character A that will never ever interact/affect character B who also wants to look pretty but character A (thousands of As) doesn't want other people to look pretty because I don't know why honestly. It's an event you complete in minutes/hour and they give excuses like they earned it. They were simply lucky they were playing at the time the event happened. Then comes the excuse the were supporting the game back then, well if they add the items to mog station and new players buy them, they're supporting the game aswell (extra support besides sub).
But the rest of your post more or less sums it up.
What I want to know is, why is it so wrong to have something that no one else is able to gain? I put in the time/money/effort to get something I want when it was available.
Yes, its special to me cause its limited. Yes, its special to me cause it can't be gained anymore. Why must my item's lose there value and states because the " It's not fair " crowed lost out?
What I want to know is, why is it wrong for someone to have VANITY options in the game? why would it make it less special for you? thousand of players already have your "special" thing, it's not special anymore. If you step into a zone where a lot of players are using your hairstyle, do you analyze when they got it, do you get an instant stroke? does it ruin your in game pretty character? What I want to know is, why is it so wrong to have something that no one else is able to gain? What time/money/effort are you talking about? an event that takes a few minutes? an event that usually tells you to talk to npc 1 and 2? an event that is zerged when it's in form of fate? you were simply lucky it happened when you were playing, that's all.

Hmm maybe my post is kinda derailed from what people debate here.
But I really hope that the next year's Moonfair Faire we got some recolored speedo like Coeurl, not repeat the 1.0 swimsuit again.
Then why do you want it so bad then if it's nothing special to you? It's special because out of the MILLIONS of players, this small group of a thousand have it. Time/effort and money can not be measured regardless the amount. I took the TIME to do it and to be there, I put the effort to "zerg" the event, and the money to pay the sub to be online to do it. Can't say much about the hair style cause it the options all Male Au Ra's get so, eh. Though I will say I pull it of rather well.
I don't even want them. But I understand people who do. People don't want it because it's an event reward, they want it because they want to wear it, and it happens to come fron an event. Then why do you want it so bad then if it's nothing special to you? Again from my previous post. The time you spent is minutes. The effort to zerg an event is 0. People who want the event to happen are also paying sub, you're not the only one. Again, you were just lucky it happened when you were playing, you don't deserve it any more, nor any less than others.
Yeah, I was lucky enough to be playing when it happened. I was playing at the time, that's my reward for being a subscriber at that point in time and doing the event that " took minutes ". Zero effort means I didn't bother logging in or go do the event, clearly me having it means I put in effort.
Effort:
1.work done by the mind or body : energy used to do something
2. a serious attempt to do something
3. something produced by work
" Zerging some lame event doesn't count " I disagree.
This is how I see new players as the game get older "waaaahh that person that been playing for 5 years has items I don't have, I demand you give it to me also"
