People are more focused on farming ESO because while it is capped, it's also a giant upgrade compared to Law gear. As for why people are so obsessed with farming the Diadem, it's because it drops i210 gear at a drop rate that is way higher than it should be.....
Correction, meant to say esos
I am tired of waiting 69 years for the expert roulette to pop and only get 75 tomes once a day. I cannot play everyday so are hunts or Diadem a better tome farming option?
I have never done diadem but does it give tomes?
Diadem gear is Mistgear? or no?

I do Diadem to get 99 tokens so I can get my pegasus mount, after I get it I am done with it. I do not like Diadem at all.
You do get Eso tomes from Diadem, if your group does the objectives, which most do. 40, I believe. Time wise... it's hard to say if you're better off with Diadem or not. It's not a reliable source of (good) gear due to the fact that it's 150, 180, 210 gear, and EVERYONE can roll on it if you're not in a pre-made, and you're expected to stay for at least most of the 90min timer. In that 90min, you could have cleared the old Expert dungeons almost 4-5 times if queue wasn't an issue. Not sure how it is now with the new ones. Hunts are more reliable for good gear investment than Diadem.
Thanks I will not do diadem then. I just tried hunts and they do not drop eso. I think it was 2000-3000 seals for one 210 upgrade which isn't worth it for me, i would rather wait for the void ark auto drop. Other than that I guess expert roulette is the only way, rip
Void Ark is also a good source of ESO if you feel like running it, other than that, Expert and the other roulettes are your best bet. If Expert REALLY won't pop for you, you can always just que up for the individual dungeons, which might end up being a quicker way to grind for the weekly cap.....
If you are after ESO, I feel like you have a handful of content you should do per day.
Do your Expert dungeon coupled with a single run of diadem per day and make it a point to get the objectives done. (After that you dont have to stay but the gear can be worth it, to stick around)
Doing just these two things once a day will cap you well before the week is up. (Heck only running your expert once a day will cap you before the week is up IF you do it EVERYDAY)
Add in Void Ark atleast once a week for your Gobtwine/gobcoat and 20 eso and you wont have much trouble capping tomes before the reset.

Last time, I played on Tuesday and got 150/450 Eso for:
- Expert Roulette
- Level 60 Roulette
- Trial Roulette
- Void Ark
With Void Ark done, I will play on my two other evenings:
- Expert Roulette
- Level 60 Roulette
- Trial Roulette
- 2x Alexander Normal (actually T1 or T2 as I need ilvl190 Accessoire)
That will give me overall 450 Eso in 3 Evenings played.
And if you want the fastest way, level up a Tank or Healer. This will give you way faster invites and you can spend your points for your main Character.
As Paladin is my Main, I already got half of ilvl170 Gear for a Healer from Law and after that will buy a DD Set as well. Even though my Healer and DD is still Level 30.![]()

you can enter diadem with 2 persons, complete the objectives in about 10 minutes and get 40 eso for that.
then you can leave and do the same 2h later again
