I'll be subscribing, I figure more money going in = more potential for faster development on the 2.0 changes. Plus, I'll be able to be part of a storyline that will completely disappear by the release of 2.0 and I'm a lore junkie for FF games.

Yes, I have a great time in game.

They're being secretive about how much the fee is going to be per month or I haven't found that yet. I admit I have not checked the email yet because the game was given as a gift, already set up. Someone said a lump sum of $150. To that I would absolutely say NO! That would be a very obvious money grab...a clear attempt to grab and go by SE. If it's the usual under $15 per month and a couple bucks per character I'll give it some thought, but I still think it's pretty ballsy of them to have used us as unpaid testers on a NOT READY game for a full year, and even though they admit it's at LEAST a year from being where it belongs, they still expect us to pay. What they lacked it foresight they definitely have in audacity! ...no matter how they cover it up with pretty words of humble thanks and appreciation. That is as sincere as the following smile I have for them ^ ^
Things are not always what they seem. When in doubt, ask.

Yes.
But only because I'm super excited to see how the game progresses to the fantastic promise that is 2.0.

No, will try it out when 2.0 is out though.
Well, I voted yes because I'd like to stay, even if I have to pay.
But my current state of unemployment may, however, deny me that. >:
I am staying, if the price is right. Seeing the proposition for 2.0 deserves my cash as it's going towards that masterpiece, and it looks amazesome.

I'll be here. I think with all the work they've done so far, it will only get better from here. I am being optimistic (which does not happen much in my real life - glass half empty kinda gal) because I really love the game so far and I'm tired of playing the mindless run of themeparks (WoW, EQ2, etc.) out there.
Ofc, im gonna pay, game was free for over 1 year alrdy, with 250+ppl constantly working on it. further the whole 2.0 thing completly gave me back my faith in FinalFantasy. GO GO GO Dev Team!!!!!!
