you would think knowing they want us to pay for the inferior version of the game they would at least only have us pay less of a price until 2.0. SE if your going to slap us, at least put on a soft glove (like making us pay 5$ a month instead of 13$)

I think this sums it up perfectly; give the organisation some money to pay for their employees whilst letting customers have a cheaper price while the game is being made to standard.

the forum mods are going to have a field day today lol. wonder how yoshi will take the news about the huge amount of rage he will now get (even though it might not be his choice) and some people will stop thinking he is the FFXIV savior and more of a clown who charges for betas like wada. Most likely. It isn't like just because they are Japanese they aren't people just like us. And I'm sure there are just as many Japanese people telling them to STFU too.

Just to clarify, it was actually the PS3 release that was slated for somewhere between Oct. to Dec. 2012. Subscriptions fees are resuming November or December this year.

It's good to hear that the PS3 release still has a year to go. Seeing as how the overhaul is about halfway done, that sounds about right. And the crowd that has stuck around this long to bitch and moan about how terrible everything in FFXIV is should put their money where their mouth is if they want to maintain the privilege for the next year.

Beta test is over. It's pay to play time.

Actually if you read the roadmap Closed Beta Testing for PS3 is between Oct and Dec of next year. Do not expect release til Mar of 2013.
