I'm an honest player. I really think this game would go far if they truly go through with their dev plan. But... in its current state, I'm not ready nor willing to pay for the game's subscription. It isn't worth doing so yet. It's not really a goodbye, more of... a Not Yet.

Same here. I hope the 1000 dollars a month they will generate if they are lucky is worth all the customers they are potentially going to lose.

don't tell me we are going to fix the game and not charge you until then and then turn around and say we know the game is broken, but we are going to charge you now to fix it. those 2 statements directly conflict with each other.

To be fair, what they said in their announcement was

As stated above, the newly restructured team's top priority is to bring about improvements to the game's enjoyability, and therefore we have decided to extend the free trial period until we can provide a plan that outlines a level of enjoyment that will satisfy both us and our customers. When we are confident that we have reached that goal, we will notify our customers immediately.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting that anyone should pay money for the game in its current state. I'm simply pointing out that they said they would charge when they can provide a plan, not when they've delivered on it.

Honestly people who are not willing to pay ~10 a month was not going to stay with the game when other mmo came out.

Atm all I see is SE is going to make alot of people quit who are not really playing the game anyways, the people we see ingame everyday I doubt we will even see much of an impact, maby a 5-10% drop at max.
