Multiboxing and.. invisible bots??

As I am not sure if this is legal, I just want to point out that I took picture of someone that was mutliboxing (4 char) with the names like

1- dweqojije jeifjasf
2- klfkfsafk asfjsadk
3- lksdflsk fhaslk
4- uLksdfopop sdpfmv

So it gets me the feeling like the RMT sellers..

I was in Northern Thanalan, I used the /say, no one dared to reply, like they don't care.

I don't know what to say..

It could be legit, but who in the name of the twelve would play with names like these, and 4 accounts??

Anyway.. *would be awesome to have your own light party, but how to do a dungeon hmm..

wanted to get my fate 84k bonus from 5 different locations, so I went to.. Black Brush Station? I was doing the Queen Ant fate, then I showed my girlfriend, and some ants (outside of the fate) were attacked, we saw numbers and then they died, but no one (not a NIN since you would appear once you hit once) was there.. waited a bit, then process repeated..

These guys are simply brilliant, they should work for Anonymous..

How can I report people that I can't see?

Most likely RMT bots farming gil, mats or whatever.

If you cant see the player that is attacking the mobs for whatever reason, you should still be able to see their names by clicking on the mob being attacked and it will show their target.

I didn't think of getting the name, but there was one time outside the same area in C. Thanalan near Cutter's Cry where I noticed a PC (bot) attacking antlings from (what appeared to be) under the map. Once I had him idly targeted he proceeded to let himself get killed.

It's rather common to see that actually (and even more common to see them underground the Aetheryte in Ul'dah plaza). If you can't get their names by targeting, fill out the area XY in the report's comments so the GM can go check that area out.

Also don't post the pic and if those names are their actual names (hard to tell with RMT gibberish) remove em. People get suspended/banned for that here all the time.

Saw a group of Lalas falling through the world once in Camp Dragon Head. They were moving in unison and completing/turning in quests at the exact same time. Unfortunately, I couldn't get their names down to report them because they were all jumbled as one indiscernible blur before they disappeared entirely.....

Almost certainly RMT gil-farming bots. Unfortunately, it's significantly harder to prove that's the case, so SE is very slow to do anything about it. You should report them, but since neither multi-boxing nor having stupid character names are, in and of themselves, against the rules, SE will then have to watch those bots for quite a while and see where their gil goes. Eventually (hopefully) they'll gather enough data against the RMT to be able to ban their accounts, but don't expect it to happen any time soon.

I saw a bunch of them in Ul Day by the train station where Papalymo -- right next to the tunnel. The weird thing was that they were halfway IN the ground.
